Yeah he can cover both positions, I think he's a right back naturally but he was exceptionally good for Italy at left back in the euros.

Typical old fashioned Italian defender, to get past me you'll have to go through me. Basically the anti-Moreno in that regard.

Sounds a bit like Flanno pre-injury.

I probably see 2 Madrid games a year. Wouldn't know a thing about him other than he went to Madrid years ago, and the stats suggest he never made the breakthrough.

No shame to being second choice to Marcelo to be fair, the injuries have held him back though.
