Don't know how I missed this one (twitter not exactly my domain) but I've seen it this morning and had quite a hearty laugh.

Is the match thread covered tonight? I'm happy to step in if need be.
The long and short of it, Mikel? Arsenal weren't good enough
Arsenal did not drop points at Burnley because the grass was too long, as Mikel Arteta suggested. They drew because the players are not good enough to handle a little adversity.
If all it took to upset an elite team was a slow pitch, Burnley would not have conceded four at home to Manchester City and Chelsea, three to Liverpool and two to Manchester United this season.
Indeed, they could play Liverpool in bamboo and you'd still fancy Jurgen Klopp's chances.
A piece by someone in the daily mail.

So what can we expect from our youngsters tonight then. Initially thought it's difficult to think how our u21's would match up senior lower league sides but was forgetting we took part in the EFL trophy. These were our results:
Oldham (league two) 3-2 Liverpool U21
Fleetwood (league one) 1-1 Liverpool U21
Accrington Stanley (league one) 5-2 Liverpool U21
So two close games and one thrashing in there. Have no idea if the opposition were playing their strongest teams in that but assume they would be.
Going by the above I'd probably expect Shrewsbury to get a narrow victory, maybe 2-1 or 3-1.
Being at home on a zippy Anfield surface is likely to improve our chances of getting a win but I think it's still going to be very difficult.
Good experience for the youngsters anyway.

I fancy us to win tonight. This will be a stronger team than the one that played Villa with Jones and Williams returning.

I’m going up with jar.. it’s a sell out.
Ok, tickets were £15 for adults, £5 young adults and £1 juniors.
Which makes it about 60% less on gate receipts.

Where can we watch tonight's game. Liverpool game?
Totalsportek usually works fine for me.
Oh I assumed the game was on BBC1
Morning folks, got offered a new job last week, but my bonus day is next week so not handing my notice in until then...
How much should I pretend to give a crap?
Quit being modest....we all know you don't have to pretend.
