Phillips will be very good for a low block PL team. He's a quality defender, just lacks pace. People criticise his passing but he actually played a few lovely forward passes to feet last night.

Then he got excited it which led him attempting to step up and play the playmaker role
No, just No, sorry Nat, too far.

I hope he stays as he's a good back up but totally understands if he decides to move on. Think quite a few teams will want him this summer.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Put in a sell on clause or first option of he leaves. All our outgoings that involve really young players should have that. How much could we get for Nat? 20m?

Why not? Saying he's injury prone is an understatement.

I like him.

Me too, but I like Ox as well but they can go IMO. If we had slightly worse players than those two but they stayed fit all season, it would still be better than players that hardly ever play. But really we can get players as good or better to replace them.

You never know he might find that mythical world class form we have been promised for the last 4 years. That's if he manages to avoid staying injury free for a few months for the first time in his Liverpool career.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Keita has performed well for us when fit, as has the Ox. Up until last year we had never lost a game Keita played in. He's appeared in a decent number of thumping victories like the 5-3 against Chelsea that sealed the title for us, where he smashed a rocket into the back on the net for our first goal. Trent scored a stunner too. Pulisic, another good player that's been having a bit of a rough time at Chelsea, was also brilliant in that game.

That's without being able to string enough apps together. Stop start on and off. We've arguably never even seen the true Keita.

Sell Ox and we have to buy a HG. Not sure who though. Cantwell or sommat maybe.

Would quite like Aarons from Norwich but no doubt they will want too much again.

I think I would go all out for Bellingham, he's already a baller and will only get better.

Plus home grown.

Other than Mbappe or Haaland if I could have any player in the world it would be him. Gerrard Mk2

He's not though. He is U21 though so doesnt matter.

By Sancho I mean their next big ticket sale after Sancho

posted on 15/4/21

He's not 18 yet. Has he signed a professional contract with Dortmund yet?

posted on 15/4/21

Bellingham isn't home grown? He's the sort of player you assume has to be homegrown.

posted on 15/4/21

Yoube got to have trained three years under the ages between 17-21 in England (preferably at the club for euro comps).

So Dier isnt HG for example.

I'd actually Mount as well, I think he is a very good number 8 and would fit the "attack-minded" midfielder the club needs that Keita hasn't been because he is never fit for the role. I think Mount would fit into the team well and would count as home grown.

Bellingham would be an excellent purchase as well and signing him this summer would make him a home grown player in a few years as well.

Grealish would be a good addition actually if a wide attacker is needed as well. That may also allow Mane to play centrally more often as well which may give him the adaptability he needs.

Bellingham, Maddison, Lamptey and a centre back would be quality.

posted on 15/4/21

Lamptey is about 2ft tall. He can't play RB for us imo and I dont think Treng will be moved under Klopp anyway.

posted on 15/4/21

I've not liked Maddison since he did a no look 5 yard pass on the half way line for England. I don't think he's a Klopp player.

posted on 15/4/21

Personally I'd like us to go for Pereira and then move Trent into midfield.

dont mock lampteys height you bully
