Your right Cout did really well in midfield too last season. My only concern is if Gerrard or Can can do the defensive work?

Well coutinho completed more tackles per game than lallana last year so it being lallan or coutingo shouldnt matter

I like Lallana think he's a quality player but put him where Suarez played last season and we'll struggle.
With Suarez leaving we'll switch up the formation to probably just Sturridge up front with more supporting player because there is no one close to filling the position Suarez plays.

But I expexr theyll be played in different positions for different games

They'll still be getting the money but at least our biggest rivals wouldn't be getting more than double we get from the same manufacturer.

Don't know how long our deal is with Warrior just tried to find out and some places report 3 years, some 6 years, I seem to remember it being 3 years though.

BBC reported 6 years so does that mean 4 more seasons on the current deal? At the time is was a huge amount, now most top clubs seem to be getting more.

Jesus h Christ. The two players ahead of him in the diamond are the "defensive midfielders, can and lallana can both cover the two roles ahead of gerrard and lallana can cover the "tip" or out wide, if gerrard is out I expect us to play a midfield three, because no one else has his range of passing (although Hendo might be tried)

We can now choose from 5 players for the sides of the diamond (Allen, henderson, can, lallana, coutinho) if lucas is sold. Before dipping in to the youth (and no one there screams out at me for this role)

We also have sterling, lallana coutinho available at the tip of the diamond, then youth (suso/Tex) as strength in depth, obviously if sterling is out this reduces the choice for the box to box "side" spots.

If gerrard is out, I expect us to drop the bottom point of the diamond and go 4-3-3. Because of the "Gerrard role" this doesn't sacrifice much defence and substitutes a "deep" creative player for an attacking creative player, you still have the two sided of the diamond doing all the pressing amd tracking runners, with the tip trying to win the balk back early.

This is what makes other recruitment interesting, because we are pretty much recruiting a wide man to play when gerrard is dropped, unless they can drop in up front / at the tip of the diamond too..

We won't buy any one who isn't versatile, which is good because it allows our fluid game..

Let's face it, Harold is probably the father. Hence why Mary claimed the virgin birth. Joseph must of been a right mug to have believed that old chestnut. Just a shame there wasn't DNA testing back then, would of saved thousands of years of bullshît....
