More importantly..... game day
Klopp v City in court, bring it on. Just imagine how toxic the next game is going to be.
You just know Bowen going to be playing for that transfer again tonight
Bowen has looked more like himself the last few games after a slow start to the season.
No idea how we line up tonight though. I'm guessing Trent will come back in and Klopp will keep the Gomez/Virg partnership at the back. I think we've got to keep the same CB partnership for a few games now (injuries permitting) as all the chopping and changing won't have been helping.
Hendo to come back in for one of Fab/Thiago. Who knows what we'll see up top.
I think the only changes we'll see is with Henderson in midfield and whoever Klopp chooses to replace Jota

Pretty typical that Brighton now haven't scored a goal for 3 straight games after scoring 3 v us
city claiming klopp is xenophobic i guess its due to the regime that doesn't tolerate free speech, free media, and dissent
Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Tsimikas; Henderson, Thiago; Salah, Firmino, Carvalho; Nunez
Subs: Kelleher, Phillips, Robertson, Milner, Fabinho, Jones, Clark, Elliott, Oxlade-Chamberlain

Crappy Prime is blurry as fek
I’ve ask admin to bump the City thread. should be up soon
League table starting to look a bit better already. If we can get 3 points at Forest then we've got United playing Chelsea and Spurs home to Newcastle so teams above us are guaranteed to drop points at the weekend. Hopefully we can build up some momentum for the run in to the world cup.
Lost our rhythm with the triple sub but pulled it over the line in the end. Onwards and upwards
I also don't like this 1v1 duel setup that this systems brings but it looks like we're going to persist with it.
I mean I can count on one hand the number of players I trust in our squad in a 1v1 defending situation
BBC saying Nunez went off after 'feeling his muscle' last night.
Wouldn't mind someone feeling my muscle
I thought the much maligned (deservedly so)Trent did well last night apart from being skinned in the dying minutes of the match, leading to that Milner block.
He was positionally disciplined and sat a bit deeper. He showed a willingness to close his man down and prevent crosses. He also played some lovely forward.passing from this deeper position and his his corner kicks were excellent.
Ratings yesterday:
Ali - 9.5
Trent - 5
Gomez - 6
VVD - 8
Tsimikas - 7
Hendo - 9
Thiago - 8
Salah - 7
Bobby - 7.5
Nunez - 8.5
Carvalho - 8
Milner 9 and other subs 5
Carvalho 8 and Trent 5.
Nah... I thought Carvalho improved in the second half but was poor in the first. Thiago ran the midfield and we missed him when he went off. He out performed Hendo imo
Ratings yesterday:
Ali - 10
Trent - 4
Gomez - 6
VVD - 8
Tsimikas - 7
Hendo - 4
Thiago - 8.5
Salah - 6
Bobby - 6
Nunez - 8.5
Carvalho - 6
Milner 9 , Fabinho 2, Elliott 6 for effort, ran his socks off. Jones 6 one of the few composed enough 2nd half, got back and saved us a few times too but jogged about a bit too much compared to Elliott who sprinted everywhere.
