Darwin Nunez clocked a top speed of 38km/h vs West Ham, beating Kyle Walker's record of 37.802 km/h in June 2020.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
match thread the other week had someone saying he looks slow
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's the guy who always goes shopping whilst the game is on.
he had the 2nd highest speed in the CL last season i think behind alphonso davied by 0.03 km.

Good old Fred
As soon as I said Nunez looked shiiiite, he then had a worldie of a chance tipped over by the keeper, then scored then had another worldie hit the bar.
He is a very confusing player to watch, so much good but so much utter crap as well. If we can find a better balance, improve his decision making and find some confidence he'll be a quality player.
Thought we played well in the first half until the moment of madness from Gomez. I missed the second half as was out to dinner but sounds like the subs yet again killed our momentum. Keeps happening

I also didn't say Darwin was slow, from memory. Feel free to prove me wrong.

I made that up to be honest.
I always knew he was quick as I said he was the only player who beat Konate for pace last season. He still has to improve his finishing and composure or else he could end up like Werner.
I would play Salah and Nunez centrally together.
Two quick players who can run into the channels. Nunez needs to improve his decision making. There was a moment he could have passed the ball to Salah and instead decided to shoot.

He’s very raw and will need games and time, but already he’s contributing more than enough.
Salah's role went back to wide wide last night, I'm guessing to allow Nunez more central positions.
We can't play them both central currently because Diaz & Jota are out
Darwin is the worst player in the league yet is averaging a goal/assist every 96 minutes. How many g/a per min will he have when he becomes a good player?

I reckon the usual suspects will end up looking quite silly again.
He has great movement, always seems to be in the right place at the right time..He'll get plenty of goals.
5 goals in 12 games so far despite being very raw is already a good sign.
Will probably end up with 15-25 in all comps which would make some look quite silly indeed.

1 more goal to reach donkey Carroll total for us
He is already a better striker than Lukaku was last season and Werner the season before.

if you break that down into goals per mins it certainly looks a lot better reading.
Sorry I can't be bothered right now
114.6 mins per goal, with assists its 96
thats all comp, league only is 85.5
His underlying numbers are monstrous
What about the S-housery from VVD for the pen?
About time we stopped this nice guy act.
