Lazy comparison tbh...you just looking at volume of shots and making the comparison.
Suarez created most of those chances himself. He was levels above anyone else in that side...even in those early days you could see it.
It took Rodgers understanding the importance of creating quality chances as well...for Suarez to really get going.
Before that we was just using Commolli's method of hitting 30+ crosses meant you averaged a goal a game
Remember when Downing put in 127 crosses and got no assists. They were the dayzzzzzz

Yeah Suarez wasn't even the cleanest with his technique but still amazing nonetheless.
Nunez has a loooooong way to go. Output ain't everything but you can use it to mask the shortcomings of other areas if the output is really good

I always knew he was quick as I said he was the only player who beat Konate for pace last season. He still has to improve his finishing and composure or else he could end up like Werner.

well pace and movement are where the similarities end, i think the boys got a better character and has height and power etc to his game.
I still like Werner and think he'd have suited us more, Tuchel system wasnt the best for him as it wasnt for a lot of Chelseas attacking talent. It was brilliant for cbs and fullbacks and dms and keepers.

I doubt Werner will ever score a header like last night in his entire career. Nunez has a crazy spring.
That stat about Nunez's speed was mad. I knew he was quick but never realised that quick.
I do think his end product will improve as he's shown it can be at a good level at Benfica. Just think he's trying a bit too hard to impress at the moment. Once he's been here a few months he should relax a bit more in matches. Also think Klopp has handled him poorly in his early months which hasn't helped at all.
Think we have one hell of a player there personally.
