That and away to Villa on boxing day are must wins imo as I have not given up on top four just yet.

Win our game in hand and we’re 5 points off 3rd. Not sure why anyone would have given up on top 4.

We need to get better though, that almost goes without saying. Very possible for this team, the ability is there without question.

What did we think of Nunez today.

Couple of ropey touches and decisions but also the assist for the first was more than decent, made some other moments for himself and also put in a shift defensively.

Thought he faded a bit but that was no surprise and he's played quite a bit lately.

unlikely we'd get any from utd, though rashford dalot wouldnt be bad options.

United players all have an additional year clause so probably none of them will be available.

think thats prob the case for a lot of them ont hat list, messi does.

Everything remains encouraging on Nunez for me, his end product remains a bit disappointing but I do expect that to improve. Also areas of his game that are a lot better than I had thought when we signed him. Had another good impact yesterday.

Also wonderful to see the main man Salah back in top form, one of our greatest ever players. Really great to see him scoring in Liverpool red, despite the calls from some of the FSG accountants on here to sell him in the summer.

But freebies aside, we have work to do in the market, january will prob decide if we make top 4 or not up first, no doubt other teams like Spurs will be strenghtening in Jan.
