19+6 still not addressing the bit about us having a number of key players who came from lower league or relegated sides. Cool.

Of course not, that doesn't fit with his anti FSG agenda.

Shrewd investment doesn't sit well with the rest of the FSG OUT plastic idiots.

£60m for a 22 year old in this market just isn’t that much money. If he plays until he’s 30 for us it’s $7.5m a year which isn’t too bad.

Never seen him play but read a lot of great things about him. Not sure where he fits into the side though with Mac?

Refusing to finance a squad rebuild is not shrewd investment; it's negligence. 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Yeah man, I mean how negligent was it when we needed to rebuild the front line and they went and broke our transfer record, signed Gakpo on top and had a higher NET spend than City?

Now moving onto the midfield they've released the deadwood and signed a world cup winner entering his prime whilst also clearly targeting more players. Again, how is this negligence?

Genuine question btw.

Depends if we are trying to play more like City who seem to have 4 midfielders, two attacking and two defensive (Gundogan, De Bruyne and Stones, Rodri) which makes sense.

Yet not one Midfielder that we were desperate for. No way do we signe Nunez if Mane stayed. The Nunez purchase was in response to City getting Haaland.

posted on 28/6/23

the nunez purchase was due to selling mane and needing a forward, not because they had to have one of what city had

Nah more a case of when Trent inverts we need a athletic midfielder to cover the right side of the pitch.

Yes, we'll that would be Klopps choice to s0end £140m on forwards wouldn't it.

If you think we signed Nunez because City signed Haaland yothen you really shouldn't be allowed access to the Internet.

OP, do the right thing with this moron please. TIA

Yeah but you want him in the final 3rd creating rather than chasing after the left winger

I'm all for good footballers and options.

Klopp has my total trust on this point, despite last season.

However, someone more akin to Thuram (not that I know a great deal about him) would be my preference next, but we'll see.

Pretty sure pur squad will look rather good by Sept 1st but we'll see.

Good to hear

You would assume it was therefore between him and Thuram for the RCM position, but it's possible we've dropped a story to Ornstein to alert Nice that we can and will move on if they delay us with Thuram.
