I honesty think that Chelsea played their best game in years today, and look like a much improved team.

I think we will look back at this game and think that it was a good point earned.

We obviously need a number 6 and then with Thiago (?) and Baj we would have quite a promising midfield.

We lack defensive thinking players. For me the rest defence is the problem. We always need to have 3+2 at the back when losing the ball forward up the pitch.

The box midfield is well and good in the possession phase but we still press in a 433 shape. Taking City and Arsenal as an example, they mirror their build up shape of 3-2 when pressing. You see Haaland and KDB as the two players putting pressure, with the two wingers and one number 8 behind them two. Arsenal do a similar thing. That's why they have CBs in the fullback position who can defend in the wide areas.

Sturridge is 100% right, doesn’t mean he wasn’t a total flake as a player.

I get called offensive and sometimes I am, but 90% of fights here start with me or one of the other sensible posters like Kash or yourself posting a link or a player opinion etc. and the accountants then make any discussion bitter and aggressive by throwing in profanities.

20 points at least! That was basically the gap last year and it was an absolute sh*t-show for most of the year.

We looked good for a third of the game against Chelsea. We’re a way off title challengers imo, even with the right signings it’ll take time to bed in. But 20+ points off is really rather pessimistic! People are generally optimistic at the start of the season, you’ll be predicting relegation come November
