To be fair its far better the mistake be slipping as opposed to being out of position or giving the ball away.
He's been very good in both games outside of that.

Only slipped because he held onto it though.
Either way it's an improved performance and as said, I thought Quansah did well too.

Fixtures start coming thick and fast after the international break. 5 games in 2 weeks starting with Wolves and LASK away before home games against West Ham and Leicester in the league cup. Finally Spurs away at the end of the month.
Definitely feels like the break has come at the wrong time for us but equally, Wolves and LASK are kind fixtures to get some momentum back. I'm concerned about West Ham at home after the job they did on Brighton, they'll surely look to play the same way which could cause us some issues.
Just hoping for no injuries during the break and a chance for Trent to recover a bit.
How did Nunez miss that header ffs
Just watching MOTD2

Matip's was way worse

Yeah agree with that but he's not a CF!
Still think Nunez was good yesterday, but his finishing is just incredibly hit and miss.
Incredibly hit and miss is a bit harsh
Just seen the Wolves game is the 12:30 slot away from home, which I hate anyway but especially after a break.
I swear we virtually never get one of those at Anfield
I thought if you're in the Europa League, you don't get the 12:30 game?
Its always us, its like its penciled in.. away from home after an international break its LFC..
anyhow with a win we'll be on top of the table. if not for a little while anyway
The european game is the Thursday after
Mac Allister and Diaz no doubt will be back from South America late too..

Well technically there’s a fair bit more miss than hit.

Every striker in the history of the sport is more miss than hit if you look at conversation rates
I love how his head never drops, even if he misses, he's straight on his toes and ready for the next one.
His movement really is second to none, and with the likes of Salah, Szos, AMA and Trent providing for him he'll hit 15 goals this season almost by default I reckon.
It's hard not like him tbh. Just all action
I was scrambling after about 11
