I prefer this one though
https://spielverlagerung.com/2022/01/29/arnes-army-how-slot-is-regenerating-feyenoord/
Not sure but I'll link if I see it
Obviously not sure how it would translate to the Prem but he's apparently similar to Klopp but with a bite more of a possession focus. You'd think that playing at a less breakneck speed than we currently do might help the injury situation we always seem to have each season
Might even suit Thiago
Joyce reporting we've opened negotiations, surprisingly public this.

Liverpool have now opened negotiations with Feyenoord over Arne Slot. https://thetimes.co.uk/sport/football/article/arne-slot-next-liverpool-manager-jurgen-klopp-r3sl6vdc8
He should get better treatment from bald refs
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c72prpwggqxo
Again! Football clubs need to take seriously the need to mentally shape young players imo. I'm not a social media user (I basically use ja606 and linkedin) - any rumours of the club?
so who has 2 19 year olds in there matchday squad often (assuming they aren't from a youth team)

Can't think of too many 19 year old "premier league players".
Party with a dodgy passport?
We have 19 year olds who I would describe as EPL players - Clark & Bajcetic. Not matchday squad though recently.
Can’t understand why people are underwhelmed by Slot. Just because he’s from the Dutch league (and bald which for some reason idiots are fixating on) doesn’t mean he’s Ten Haag.
I dare say also that considering how shockingly United have been run for the last 10 years that the running of the club and its ethos is far more of a problem than any manager that’s come in the door.
This is a well run football club, managed by people who know what they are doing in football. They got the Klopp appointment bang on and they have my faith in getting this appointment right too.
Will we challenge for the league under a new manager? Unlikely. But unless we’re getting Ancelotti or Pep, any manager coming in the door will have an enormous challenge on their hands to follow club.
If the club, who pay people far more knowledgeable than any of us, think Slot is the right appointment to face that challenge then I support it.

True. The way it's being reported your expect a higher profile of player than those two but could be anyone.

There's comfort in familiarity, I would guess that the majority of people don't really know that much about Slot, his team or his style. I know I didn't.
Until yesterday I was only vaguely aware (because of the Spurs links last summer) that he existed, the more I've read the more enthused I've become. He seems like a good fit for the squad and our style, would mean the change isn't too jarring.
I don't really have a problem with him coming from the Dutch league. Everyone has to start somewhere.
Also I can’t quite believe we only have 5 more games with Jurgen Klopp as our manager.
Reported by the Sun so wouldn't be surprised if they're exaggerating and they're not high profile players
Regardless, never a good story

OB is 20. There aren't actually that many 19 year olds playing in the EPL:
https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/premier-league/marktwerte/wettbewerb/GB1/plus//galerie/0?pos=&detailpos=&altersklasse=u20&land_id=0
Some in there are younger than 19 as well. Brighton have a few players.
so probably a youth team player whos made a couple senior apps
The only question mark I have about slot is he isn’t used to dealing with big names.
Tactically he will be fine but dutch managers historically have fallen out with big players. Van Gaal with Rivaldo at Barca in the 90s and even Cruyff had some problems with Romario.
well i'd hope our players aren't complete pieces of sh.t

And managers don’t deal with big names without getting the chance to deal with them.
