Yeah, there’s no way he’s leaving because they’re coming back. I’m pretty sure that if he wasn’t leaving things would have stayed the way they were.

FSG are clearly using this as an opportunity to implement the exact structure that they have probably wanted for some time. Klopp pretty much got what he wanted and FSG were happy to let him run with it.

Slot having responsibility purely for the playing side can only be a good thing, far less pressure than Klopp put on himself. It clearly caught up with him in the end.

It’s definitely making me feel a lot better about stepping into the unknown with a new manager, seeing so many familiar and successful faces in the back room.

Sounds like Slot really will have limited scope of responsibility which is a good thing.

The structure is only as good as the manager so even if Slot has playing side responsibilities he will need to get instant results on the pitch.
