De Ligt, 25, was replaced at half-time in the Uefa Nations League clash in Amsterdam by Brighton's Jan Paul van Hecke after the defender had a hand in both of Germany's first-half goals.
A misplaced pass in the first half led to Deniz Undav equalising before his failed clearance led to Joshua Kimmich giving Germany the lead, just three days after De Ligt made mistakes in the Dutch's 5-2 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“Of course I would rather have kept [Matthijs de Ligt] on the pitch," Koeman told Dutch broadcaster NOS.
“It just looks like he is now in a period where all his mistakes are being punished.
"I gave him a new chance today but eventually I protected him by taking him off."
Fabrizio: David Datro Fofana leaves Chelsea to join AEK Athens on loan deal, agreement reached. It also includes a buy option clause for £20m not mandatory, up to AEK in June 2025 to decide about it. Fofana has accepted, paperwork time now.
Tf is that buy option they obviously wont trigger it and chelsea must know that, or is it a ruse to somehow trick ffp in some weird way
Damn the pharaohs are taking their revenge, I didn’t even do nothing
His who scored strengths and weaknesses is bantz
David Datro Fofana Characteristics
+ Strengths
Long shots. Very Strong
- Weaknesses
Aerial Duels. Weak
Holding on to the ball. Weak
Passing. Weak
Finishing. Weak
Offside awareness. Weak
Whoscored's algorithms are awful though

no idea, i just dont understand the release clause being added, when has a greek club ever spent near 20mil on a player
You guys read this story about us trying to sign Mbappe in 2022? Apparently we'd agreed terms but PSG wanted more than the £168mn or so we offered. Also, deal included that Mbappe would be free to go Madrid after a few years

I could see us have been willing to pay that transfer fee but I don't see how we'd have ever agreed to pay him presumably £500k odd a week.
Would have obliterated our wage structure.
If there is one thing FSG like to do, it’s manipulate the past.
You may have seen John Henry in stage 2 of A Christmas Carol actually.
I don't think it's so fanciful tbh, we offered almost that amount for Caicedo after all. Also a big part of the Nike deal years ago was helping secure the best talent, I remember that quite clearly from the time
I think it’s common knowledge we spoke to him when he was at Monaco. We may have enquired when he wanted to leave PSG the first time. I remember Klopp talking about having cash available to be opportunistic.
I doubt FSG would ever sanction it though

Nike deal was the biggest myth of all time.
People are now saying that Adidas will force FSG to ensure Salah and Trent get new contracts as they are part of the Adidas family.
Nike and Adidas don't work like that.
Same summer we bought Nunez apparently

I don't think one negates the other tbh
Sponsors can never control the transfer activity of the club
I remember when United signed Pogba and got ripped off, we had United fans claiming he was signed by Adidas but club accounts debunked that.

Has anyone ever used Ticket Marstro for football before?
Nope, I just use my mates season ticket when he can't attend and for Term's benefit I do pay him.
It’s away tickets I want. I’ll check the reviews but never really trust them
