I actually mentioned it when watching the game. In the past we would have played all guns blazing even at 3-0 but we're more like City and Arsenal now where we slow it down and keep possession. Hopefully that helps with energy levels and injuries but one things for sure, it doesn't help the atmosphere in the stadium especially when everybody is used to the previous way for years.

Think I mentioned similar on the day about energy levels and injuries, we barely got out of second gear in the second half, and probably used around 75% of the energy levels that they’re used to.

felt we had loads of opportunity to add more vs bournemouth on the counter. Just messed up a lot in the final pass or shot.

He gets better every season and if there is one player I could replace Salah with, it’d be him.

Good win last night

West Ham are hopeless atm

Had £20 on him being the first to get sacked at 15/2. His body language was terrible, stormed off down the tunnel, defensively they were all over the place and that’s the second game in a row.

Saying that I thought we played really well in spells. The competition for places up front is insane and Jones looked the best player on the pitch to me. This slightly slower system really suits him and he was just gliding at times. Some of his touches were bonafide world class.

Yeah if you never watched us, you would never say that was a second string side. We were really good. Obviously West Ham offered nothing in return compared to Bournemouth for example.

I'm glad to see Slot can get the squad players to come in a do a job. I was a bit skeptical but so far so good at his first asking.

Yeah Jones was superb last night, grew into the game and his play for the second goal was top notch.

Gakpo was again immense, that’s a hell of a battle between him and Diaz for the RW position. Slot getting much more out of both of them this season.

I rated Chiesa too, clear to see the class on show.

Rodrygo would be a great Salah replacement, incredibly tough to lure away from Real though.

I've just read he injured himself stamping the ground in frustration as well

We were good in recovering the ball quickly, and possession first half but lacked any threat really. West Ham worked very hard first half and paid for it 2nd. Where was that effort vs Chelsea btw? 2nd half we were more direct with more intent, Jones started offering a bit of what Grav does and carrying the ball running at their lines and asking questions etc. We were fortunate the equaliser was probably just offside?

We were poor defensively at times too and struggled defending set pieces. But overall pretty good performance and gr8 result.

Some of Jones touches were insane but then whats the point if you're gna dally on the ball and let them get back at you and take it off you cause you dont release it fast enough? Slots a slower build up sure but you cant be doing that esp vs prem opposition, you dont have the time. So either be better at it so it doesnt happen or stop doing it?

I may be corrected but all of our goals this season have been in transition. I'm yet to see this famous Slot buildup possession based move

Hmmm maybe, I suspect that’s just as much to do with it being a cobbled together team that had never played together before. Still plenty to do, which is actually very encouraging imo.
