yeah in theory, but we know theyll turn up vs us as will wolves my god they were terrible vs Chelsea, isnt there meant to be some sort of rivalry there too? Whammers fans must have been fuming over that performance.

palace were awful vs utd too, weve got them in a 12.30 after a cl game on wed night :/, selhurst was silent so flat as were the team. guarantee itll be rocking for us..

I'd start Nyoni if he hasn't been playing in the u23s. Endo and Jones alongside for stability. Think Nunez needs to start to keep the momentum going. Might be too soon for Chiesa to start?

We could get in Son to replace Salah on a free who Spurs have allowed to get into his last year.

Tah to replace VVD who Leverkusen have allowed to get into the last year of his contract.

In fact we could pack our bench out too.

Bayern definitely have similar issues to us, but there aren’t many clubs with as many key players running down their contracts at the same time as us or Bayern.

I’d argue Trent, VVD, and Salah are our three most important outfield players and they can all walk away for nothing.

I know you and others are desperate to never criticise the club, but the summer window and the handling of contracts has been a shambles.

Its Jota or Nunez upfront, both shud be rested enough so wouldnt matter which unless ones intended to start vs wolves? Salah prob see some mins as its salah, chiesa wont play full 90 prob 50/60 mins.

bit short in central mf and def. be surprised if its gomez and quansah. wonder with the atkin options he tries one of them in the szob role, gakpo or jota?

id like to see more of nyoni personally in which position in the mf no idea prob macs? endo in gravs. Szob was subbed earliest vs bournemouth so who knows he may start, prob needs resting some more tho.

Completely hypothetical of course but say TAA is asking to be captain next season, that could mean not offering VVD a contract until that is resolved one way or the other, either by agreeing to TAAs demands and therefore VVD doesn't resign or not agreeing to TAAs demands and then offering VVD a new deal and letting TAA go.
