so others just accepted it rather than showing him how he can improve? judging on bradley last night he could use some pointers too

I imagine it was moreso a case Klopp and Pep tended to focus on the attacking side more than the defensive whereas Slot might be the opposite.

Not exactly much you can teach Trent offensively at this point.

On the CB front I saw a journo point out that Konate only has 2 years left as well.

Hughes is going to be one busy boy in the next 12 months.

Trent can def when its more of his expectation, i heard a stat read out the other day, i think it was Gravenberch or sumin about duels won. And it was the most since Trent vs man city or sumin, so Sane? When he was 18 and the main thing was go on defend well do a job... He actually had numerous very good defensive performances vs psg and city etc in the CL vs neymar and sane etc.

He dealt witth leao quite well where he looked switched on to it.. So he can do it. Issue is willingness and starting positions etc. Hes not the best in 1v1s but hes not bad not the quickest so will be done now and then. But if Slot helps him with how he can negate that with positioning etc itd be great for him.

I think we’re seeing the downside of Klopp being given too much influence. Mike Gordon was supposed to be in charge of a lot of this stuff apparently, but then he took a step back and it seems like no one’s actually taken charge of it. It’s insane, but hopefully they’ll get a grip of it now that we’ve actually got the proper people in the right positions.
