Frustrating thing is if we'd won today we'd have some leeway with our tough away games coming up.
Forest, Brentford, Bournemouth and City are the next 4.
Probably need to win 3 of those now.

strong words from vvd and AMA and spot on.
Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live: "It could have been a lot worse if we are absolutely honest with ourselves. They had a big chance in the end that could have been a lot worse than where we are now. I'm definitely disappointed with dropping points at home but it is what is and we have to move on and we will."
"We found the 2-1 and then it is about trying to manage the game and keep the ball for longer than three and four passes. We lost the ball too easily at times and then we were more open than we should have been. We're not perfect, we're still learning and we have to learn from this as well."
On whether they came into the game underestimating Manchester United: "That's all the media. Media talk. It's nothing to do with us. We prepared for a very tough game like we have seen today. We didn't think any of that."
On being in a strong position when you look at the league table: "We look at the next game, we don't look at the league table."
....
Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister, talking to Sky Sports, said: "The result is not good enough. The performance was not as good as we wanted but at the end of the day it was a fair result.
"We didn't play as we wanted and conceded too many chances and had opportunities to score more goals.
"The effort was there, the mentality was there because we came back but when you're 2-1 at 75 minutes you have to defend better and we couldn't do it so we have to think about what we did wrong and move on."

It felt like the Newcastle game where we fought back to 3-2 then conceded in poor fashion. So disappointing.
West Ham aside, when was the last time we put in a really good performance? Not sure spurs counts considering we conceded 3.

Spurs definitely counts, the performance was excellent.
The stat before the game stated we'd scored the same amount of goals in the last six games as United had all season(21). They were playing well going into the game.

Well for me TAA should have been replaced earlier as he was having an awful game, depending on Bradley's fitness of course. I'd also have stuck with the original sub choice of Gakpo going off, putting Diaz out left, despite Gakpo scoring and it probably would have been wise to put Elliott in for Jones earlier, rather than Jota.
Easy to say in hindsight however.
