Not again

From a neutral point of view I'd rather have sterling out of the two but that doesn't mean Januzaj is poor either. Both already very good players and will only get better

Has this been done. I've not seen it barring that one childish comment.

Sterling is very good. But I think Januzaj could be something very special

I can't remember

As a neutral i think Januzaj has a better head on his shoulders and will go further in his career, Sterling to drop off like SWP and Lennon

Hard to judge, IMO. Sterling has had the benefit of playing with a team on fire, especially going forward, and this has helped his own performance.
On the contrary Januzaj has been playing for an awful team, and his performances have been over hyped because of this (one bright star in a dark season and all of that)

I would take Sterling at this moment, but both have a lot of improving to do before they reach their peaks.

I wouldnt say Sterling is a far bigger talent, but he seems to be excelling far quicker than Januzaj. Sterling uses his pace, sure, but he can drift past players easily enough in small spaces too, so its not all pace. At present Sterling is the better player, but they are different types of players. Im sure Januzaj will come good, he seems a slick player. If he is going to properly make it at Utd, he needs to muscle up a bit, and improve his defensive side alot while maintaining progress attacking side.

Sterling has a couple of years on Januzaj no?

I think that both are very good players and would be happy with either. Comparisons of Sterling with SWP and Lennon are a bit unfair I think as I believe that Sterling has more natural ability.

As the two develop, I think that they will fulfil different roles. Sterling will continue to be a wide player that causes havoc with his pace, whilst Adnan will turn into more of a schemer that operates centrally.

At the moment, Sterling is ahead of Adnan. But he has played an extra year for the first team, so it will be interesting to see how the latter develops next year.

No Sterling is only 3 months older than Januzaj. Both are 19 at present.

I disagree. Sterling has had an extra year playing for the first team. When your compare Adnan's stats this season with Sterling last season, there is nothing between them.

Januzaj is going to be the next robben, Sterling will be the next Ashley cole

Mark my words.

Theo Walcott will blow them both out of the water next year.

If there was betting market - I would get heavily involved.

Yes Sterling is a good player but when Januzaj has the ball he gives the aura of being in complete control and could do something to hurt the opposition at his whim. Something I've rarely seen and probably not since Figo and Zidane.

Well they are the same age and sterling is in the first team. So that was my original basis. A lot depends on teh managers decision, but either way, sterling has progressed more quickly.

Elvis Sterling is already operating at the tip of the diamond and has had his best performances for us in that position. This for me is the crux of the argument as we've seen Sterlign excel in both a wide and central position.

He's got much more to his game then simply being a fast wide player, against City at anfield he was by far the best player on the pitch in the first half, he ran city ragged and was good in that half as Silva was in the scond half of the same game.

Januzaj is another great young talent and I love the way he runs with the ball.

Currenlt IMO Sterling is the standout young player in the PL but he has had the chance to play far more regulary then others his age, but he's also earned that right through his consistenly high perfomances in 2014.

Both great young talents though and for me Sterling is the most exciting young player to come out of our academy since Gerrard or Owen.

Not having a dig here, but that is down to the fact your team isn't/wasn't as strong up front. Adnan has had to wait that extra year. But I do get what you are saying.

Lots of people mention the pace Sterling has, but not a lot gets said about his strength. It amazes me how well he can shield the ball from players who are much bigger than him (i.e. everyone just about!) and how well he tackles back.

Not seen enough of Januzaj to pass comment, but if he's as good as Sterling, he's very good.

Januzaj had to compete with Rooney, Mata, kagawa for a place in the first team, where as sterling had to compete with mighty Aspas

You could argue it was easier to break into the Liverpool team than the united team but there is no excuse now. Valencia and young are absolute pants.

I know other fans may think i'm biased but for me there is no comparison. S

terling has proved his talent over a considerably longer period of time and contributed heavily to a title challenge, Januzaj has showed flashes of brilliance now and then, been in and out of what has been a mid table team this year.

Sterling for me.
