Not sure how it will affect the money side of things.

I guess his sons take immediate control of all his assets.

Joel Glazer and his sister have been running United for years now, nothing has changed. I guess the children will inherit different percentages of the club

This news has taken me back a little

I was unexpecting to hear/read this

This is sad news for Manchester United and the football world.

May you RIP Malcom

United are 10% NYSE & 90% Glazer family which is split between Malcolm Glazer's six children.

Malcolm Glazer wasn't on current United board - sons Avram & Joel co-chairmen. His other children Kevin,Bryan,Darcie & Edward are directors

Sad to hear. How much our club has endured this season?

He had a family and my thoughts are with them. Rest In Peace Big Malc.

As for what this means for the club. Day to day wise this wont really impact the running of the club. We have appointed LVG, Woodward knows the targets and will know what funds are available.

It may mean the family decide to sell up within the next few years depending on our performance and the clubs value. Its hard to see how the club is ever going to be more valuable than it is this season with record shirt, kit and TV deals.

I would excuse all the nasty comments if he was a bad owner]

But I dont think he was at all, did OK, apart from hiring woodward

my 2 cents as a derby fan anyway

Thats what I thought Arab. I don't get how people can think him passing away would change anything in terms of United.

Just been reading through some of these comments and it saddens me that their are some really idiotic and inconsiderate human beings in this world.

Our opinions may at times differ, but we all live the same life. Life is bigger than anything else, it should and must be respected. Even in death. and to think that people can have the nerve to mock someone's death. Sad times in this society.

It won't affect Manchester United in any way personally. The Glazer family will take indefinite leave from the club to be with their family, while leaving the club running to those in capable hands.

At the end of the day, it's disgusting to see some of the things wrote on here by certain posters. Malcolm Glazer in no way affected any of us personally. He bought a football club, that's it. He didn't come into your homes and harm you or your family. A little respect is not much to ask..
