A good right back on the same level as Sagna will cost at least £15mill. A top class proven DM will cost at least £20mill. Then a striker will cost about 30mill.

Fabregas would not be playing 'false 9' for Arsenal. When he played for Arsenal he played deeper. The free role was part of a 4-3-3.

Given, Harper, Pantilamon, Sorenson, Jaaskelinen - all proven PL keepers who we could get on the cheap to sit on the bench.

We are not strengthening our rivals. They are strengthening themselves. We should worry more about strengthening ourselves in the areas we need strengthening.

So saying we are overstocked in that position and then turning a blind eye to our pursuit of Di Maria and Draxler who would have done the exact same thing makes no sense whatsoever.

Some of you are behaving like Arsenal are selling Fabregas to Chelsea directly.

I'd be happy as well if they just sit on the bench. But remember that Wenger play his #2 in the domestic cups and when Szczęsny get injured or sent off. That could be quite lots of games. I'm not sure any of them would be good enough for such task

Firstly, I'm pretty sure that I heard rumours claiming that Wenger wanted to use Draxler as a striker.

Secondly, were you one of the fans complaining about the lack of pace that we have? Fabregas is a lot slower than Draxler and Di Maria.
