We will spend £8M on a RB and £12M on a DM (if we even sign one which we probably won't) maximum.

Oh and no GK for less than £1M? How much did Viviano cost?

Bats is off his head. Like I said he's got some serious agenda against Wenger. Take away your anger kiddo and take a step back to look at the bigger picture.

If Fabregas' position is not a priority or need then why did we spend all January courting Draxler and Di Maria in the window before that?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They aren't similar players to Fabregas. Fabregas can't play out wide. He also plays deeper on the pitch.

I know Arsenal are crap with injuries but when did your keeper get injured?

a goalie less than £1mill...unless you're buying from championship, that ain't happening.

A good right back on the same level as Sagna will cost at least £15mill. A top class proven DM will cost at least £20mill. Then a striker will cost about 30mill.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I read we're looking at Ospina who is available on a free if im not mistaken.
Dont see a RB costing more than 8m tbh..
Cdm - 15- 20m
ST - 30,

Maximum that will cost is 60m. Surely we can afford to fork out for Cesc. Especially with the mega warchest weve read about lmao.

Viviano was 3rd choice. Do you really think Wenger will get a loan signing for a 2nd choice? You're a bigger fool than I thought.

posted on 9/6/14

I think that we would have to move a player on if we were to go for Fabregas, I don't know who though.

Do you even watch football? Di Maria played CM for Real most of last season. Fabregas plays deeper??????? Since when???? Been playing false number 9 or attacking mid for the last 3 years. Before he left us for Barca he played 2 years for Arsenal in pretty much a free role.

Bats, calm down. Wenger is a bigger legend than Fabregas.

Yea we never sign garbage goalkeepers as back up on free and play them as second choice do we? Cough Shabaan, Poom, Almunia

We are apparently after Marshall whom who cost more than £6m! Ospina is probably to replace Viviano who was on loan.
Btw, I'm not saying no to Cesc, but I want us to get the players we really need first

David Ospina only just signed a contract with Nice. Not available on a free.

Its not about that though? We're passing up on a bargain and strengthening our rivals? Same rivals who wouldnt give us Demba Ba lmao. Cazorla was below average last season. Fabregas would be a improvement. Simple as.

Do you really think that Wenger would be planning to use Di Maria as a central midfielder?

Fabregas would not be playing 'false 9' for Arsenal. When he played for Arsenal he played deeper. The free role was part of a 4-3-3.

Given, Harper, Pantilamon, Sorenson, Jaaskelinen - all proven PL keepers who we could get on the cheap to sit on the bench.

posted on 9/6/14

We are not strengthening our rivals. They are strengthening themselves. We should worry more about strengthening ourselves in the areas we need strengthening.

Go apply for the position of Arsenal scout or negotiator since you seem to have so much know how.

Ozil, Rosicky, Cazorla, Wilshere, Ramsey, Diaby, Chamberlain - Wenger has played them all central or wide at at least one stage of their career at Arsenal, some more often than not.

So saying we are overstocked in that position and then turning a blind eye to our pursuit of Di Maria and Draxler who would have done the exact same thing makes no sense whatsoever.

Some of you are behaving like Arsenal are selling Fabregas to Chelsea directly.

The typical 'if you are so great why don't you go manage the club yourself' retort.

Yea so because Arsenal pay our staff money they can never get anything wrong and because I am just some guy on the internet I can never be right.

A poor, generic response for somebody who has nothing to back his garbage up with. All you've done since joining this article is attempt to insult me, you haven't actually contributed to the topic at discussion once, and that's because you know you can't

I'd be happy as well if they just sit on the bench. But remember that Wenger play his #2 in the domestic cups and when Szczęsny get injured or sent off. That could be quite lots of games. I'm not sure any of them would be good enough for such task

posted on 9/6/14

What do you propose then, we sign Casillas and put him on the bench?

Firstly, I'm pretty sure that I heard rumours claiming that Wenger wanted to use Draxler as a striker.

Secondly, were you one of the fans complaining about the lack of pace that we have? Fabregas is a lot slower than Draxler and Di Maria.
