1.floyd
2.pac
3.thurman
4.bradley (think he's overrated though)
5. Marquez
6 porter
7. Maidana
8. Guerrero
9.khan
10.alexander

It's hard to pick as personally I think maidana and maybe Guerrero would beat Marquez for instance but can't rate him higher as it's Marquez, I also think Bradley is overrated but the only 3 I could see beating him easily are my top 3 and khan. Where as khan gets

posted on 28/6/14

Khan gets knocked out by all the big hitters, there's a lot of styles which make it hard to judge outside the top 2

behave diamond, Maidana would get put to sleep by Marquez, especially this juiced version.

and Guerrero is a bum, I even put a Chaves on the list ahead of him and I've only seen Chaves fight against Thurman and some other bum.

Khan has already beaten Maidana, albeit at 140. Alexander shut Maidana out and would do the same to Guerrero, he could probably beat Marquez as well

TBH Kam, I think any top fighter (especially those that have jumped numerous weights) are going to get accused of it at some point or another. My personal opinion is that it's probably rife in the sport and until major testing becomes mandatory then it will continue to happen.

Both lists are fine but i'd have Floyd 1 and Pac 2, although a very close 1 and 2.

manc, yeah most fighters probably use PEDs, but probably to a certain extent.

the Porter situation is very suspicious, it can't just be a coincidence that he's developed immense power since hooking up with somebody known for that shi.t

it's really disappointing if true cos I like Porter a lot, he's a real good fighter and doesn't need that stuff.

I just think he would struggle with maidana style, he will also struggle with boxers who are bigger than him ie, khan, Alexander, just don't think Marquez is that great at WW apart from manny who he will always perform well against

posted on 28/6/14

Wouldn't surprise me if atleast half of the top 10 have taken or are taking PEDs

posted on 28/6/14

fighters like Maidana are Marquez's bread and butter

I agree that boxers will always cause him problems though

Not for me, hopefully we will get to see a few more of these fights

Thurman and Khan will fight Guerrero and Alexander next imo

Crawford vs Gamboa about to start, who's awake?

posted on 29/6/14

Gamboa's glass chin lets him down again. All the heart and talent in the world but just too reckless and brave. Mini Amir Khan.

posted on 29/6/14

Khan's talent and ability is overstated. He's got speed. Technically and mentally he is poor.

posted on 29/6/14

No it's not. His biggest problem is lack of discipline, but he looks a lot more defensive minded under Hunter. He looked real good against Collazo, didn't take unnecessary risks and looked a lot more sound defensively. The move up in weight might have helped his punch resistance as well but too early to tell.

Anyway what's your top 10?

Kam

Hid did look better defensively in his last fight but you can never fix a glass chin and boy he don't half have one of those.
AK would be destroyed by either PAC and FM absolutely destroyed. Knocked out clean before round 6 .

WHL, the move up to 147 may have improved his punch resistance, he was really struggling to make 140.

Khan would give Floyd a real tough fight, Floyd has never fought somebody with Khan's speed. Khan isn't one of these flat-footed robots Floyd loves fighting, he won't walk face-first into punches, he will use his footwork, use his jab and box on the backfoot imo, Floyd might have to be the aggressor for once.

Floyd ain't knocking anyone out.

Yes he has. Zab Judah in 05 was as quick and hit much harder than Khan. Mayweather dismantled him completely.
The Khan fight would be a farce as Mayweather would stop him.
Hate Mayweather all you want. But it's sad seeing you trying to paint Khan as this top fighter.

Judah wasn't faster than Khan, he hit harder though. Khan's handspeed is arguably better than Pac's, a few people who have sparred them have said this. And Mayweather didn't dismantle him completely, he got dropped and he struggled for the first half of the fight, he took over after Judah tired.

Stop him and ask for directions?

What's your top 10?

posted on 1/7/14

Judah and khans hand speed were very simalar back then Floyd looked slow compared to judah and Floyd had really fast hands

posted on 2/7/14

Floyd didn't take over because Zab tired. He adjusted to Zab's speed and style and began timing him. Most of Floyd's fights follow a similar pattern. A few rounds to adjust, then floyd wins most of the remaining rounds. Kam your May hate is silly. He is in his late thirties now and still bossing. It isn't all down to selective matchmaking.

posted on 2/7/14

No Jab gassed out, he only adjusted after Judah tired. Same with Maidana. Maidana punched himself out, it's easy to 'adjust' when your opponent slows down. My dislike for him has nothing to do with my opinion of what he does in the ring.

He isn't 'bossing', he's fighting robots and still ducking dangerous, prime opponents.

I guess you think Oscar just decided to stop throwing his jab too.

posted on 2/7/14

Floyd fought Oscar's dead body, he'd been retired for a year and was well past it. Floyd took over in the championship rounds because of that...

Why doesn't Floyd fight Porter, Thurman, Khan?
