Your actual words were
"Germany had already invaded France, caused the death of many and prepared to murder more innocent lives based on a false agenda."
Which as I said wasn't true, Britain declared war before France had been touched. Maybe you meant something else...
=============================
Where did I say anything about declaring war? I was referring to Britain allied forces going to free france in the latter years of the war
The remaining rest is like going in circles. I've already made my points and without both parties accepting responsibility for the deaths and finding better wars to fight for their cause, there wont be peace. Simple.
Where did I say anything about declaring war? I was referring to Britain allied forces going to free france in the latter years of the war
......................................
We were talking originally about going to war, even though innocent civilians will die.
Britain went to war with Germany (which is what a declaration of war is) before Germany ever touched France.
I just find it incredible this notion that the Palestinians should just surrender because the opposition are stronger quite shocking. Considering nobody would advocate it on behalf of their own country but seem to be happy for other countries to get conquered and say they should just give up.
I appreciate the debate is going round in circles and we won't get anywhere but your views are hypocritical considering the Americans and the British wouldn't give up if someone was conquering their land and you wouldn't expect them to...
Israel and Hamas don't need to accept responsibilities for the deaths for there to be peace (it would be a nice step but it would probably come later) all that needs to happen for peace to be achieved is a fair peace deal for the Palestinians, that would be the biggest death blow you could ever deliver to Hamas.
Of course if taking Palestinian land is more important than peace to Israel then its current path is probably the way to go... simple.

Well the suffering is pretty much already there.
It leads to worse suffering but how much suffering do you take without response on the basis the suffering might be worse if you do not?
-------------------------------------------
It's the nature of the response that is leading to more suffering. Leaders need to be thoughtful and act in the interests of the group as a whole and not simply act on emotions only.
................................................
I also do not approve of addtional terrorism perpetrated by allied groups elsewhere saying they are doing so because of sympathy for Palestinians. For example, killing an Argentinian drinking coffee at a restaurant in Mumbai because one wishes to demonstrate their sympathy of the Palestinian cause is not justified. Unfortunately, this sort of behaviour has become a way of life for one religious group.
...................................................
I do not approve of doing that either, but that doesn't make the Palestinians cause any less just.
--------------------------------------------
I am not saying that Palestinians are not suffering. However, when the people asking others to show sympathy for Palestinians are the ones who danced and celebrated when thousand died on 9/11, 7/7, and again and again in Mumbai, the others may not have adequate empathy for them or their brothers because generally when another person expresses empathy and willingness to help us when we are in trouble, we feel like helping them when they are in trouble. When they were hugging each other, distributing sweets to each other, and dancing on rooftops because our people are dying due to violence perpetrated by their brothers, we find it hard to feel for them.
---------------------------
It isn't generally the Palestinians that go out and commit these acts of terrorism against other countries. I am pretty sure the 9/11 guys were mostly Saudi's for example.
---
Not all are Saudis either. But, in almost every case of terrorism, it is a person belonging to the same religious cult.
-----------------------------
How can we justify punishing the Palestinians for the actions of Saudi's in America or the British Muslims who bombed Britain on 7/7.
---------------
That's on the lines of what I said. How can they justify killing the Indians, Australians, and the Dutch because they are upset about somebody in another part of the world drew a cartoon they didn't like or somebody affectionately named their pet after a historical character of their religion? I said again and again that it is justified that these religious fanatics kill Group C,D,E, ...X,Y,Z because they are upset with something Group B did. Unfortunately, this has become a way of life for them.

Sizzle, you keep posting that but most of your comments have been about condemning Israel whule justifying Hamas attacks. Not really peace that is it?

Err No.
But for some reason, anyone on the Pro-Israel side think the opposing side is Pro-Hamas.
No, we're not into supporting the bloodthirsty like you guys are.
We are pro-Innocent civilian. They are NOT part of this 'fight'.
They're just the ones paying the biggest price.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If you'll allow me, i'd like to reply to this comment with a tangential comment about Hamas' commitment to destroying Israel.

If you are referring to that video that CNN leaked hours after 9/11 it has been proven to be fake. It was one of the most obvious and embarrassing method of propaganda used at a time when the twin towers were falling and people were murdered.
The only evidence I have seen has been Israelis sat in groups outside watching bombs explode in Gaza and applauding them like it's a new year firework party.
I have also seen Israelis sing disgusting songs about "no schools in Gaza" after a UN school was bombed and children were murdered.
Not saying people in Palestine don't stoop to such levels but what Robbie wrote was one sided and way off the truth.
I'm sure the EDL sing some pretty horrible songs.
Let's bomb England.
Please?
People are not supporting Hamas, they are just highlighting the evil that is done on a daily basis by the Israeli's.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
But since there is no actual justifiable comeback to that, anyone showing compassion for the civilians is automatically pro-Hamas.
According to the Israeli's....."Hamas rockets are raining down on our cities".....more lies i know but that is their justification.
Israel has fired 60,000+ pieces of ordnance into gaza.
Sixty thousand!
Shells, missiles, aerial bombs...
And no one has said how bombing a house destroys a tunnel.

The tunnels were using the house's inhabitants as human shields.

It's just a ceasefire... if Israel wanted to roll back into Gaza who's going to stop them?
But there's still a blockade, meaning Hamas will still fire rockets, causing Israel to start bombing again.
Unless both sides actually start talking then the perpetual cycle of death and blame will just start again.
