Sakho is absolutely dreadful. I have rarely seen a player look so uncomfortable on a football field.
As I said earlier, Koscielny is pretty much a one man defence at times, it is a tough job. I mean, Mertesacker is clever, and his positioning is great most of the time, but when it isn't........ goodness me!

Yes, that's because he has to be sometimes. You do understand what I mean by that, right? I mean that he is often the last line of defence before the goalkeeper. There's only so much one man can do.
I know you didn't, just the way you bash one while praising the other comes off very biased.
Those 3 goals, Palace and Leicester where he was beaten in the air, and 2 days ago when he let Immobile just stroll right by him. If that was one of our CBs people would be laughing at them on here

He was clearly concussed for the Leicester goal. He shouldn't have been on the field at that point. He had Immobile covered before Immobile attempted a very poor chop inside, which then bounced off his shin when Koscielny had all his weight going in the other direction. That gave him the yard he needed.
Mertesacker is often the last line of defence. Does that mean he's a one man defence as well?
Arsenal fans have been lauding Per and Mert. Both individually and as a unit. Yet when your defence is continually shown up you put one down to laud the other, depending on the player in question, or try and deflect their failings onto the midfield or full back - most notably Arteta and Monreal (because Ramsey and Gibbs cannot be criticised).
In reality the defence, and the defenders, aren't as good as you make out but you don't seem to be able to admit it. It's why everyone says Arsenal fans are the most biased posters on the site. Because they can't bring themselves to admit their players aren't as good as they make out. And would sooner blame everything on Wenger than admit their favourites aren't the players they believe them to be.

I don't believe any other defender in the Premier League apart from perhaps Kompany could do a better job for Arsenal than Koscielny.

Watch the replay. He's your left CB, and he's all the way over at the right side of the pitch. The LB was pushed up as well, and he left his entire side for Immobile to run into.
I've been watching Vidic and Ferdinand consistantly over the years, it stands out like a sore thumb when I see poor play from a CB, which I'm pretty used to seeing these days....
