I would have to agree with you.
Who knows what actions UEFA would even take if Rangers have broken any rules? Sion played 4 inelligable players against us, I would be shoked if they got kicked out.
Saying that, you wouldn't be suprised if it was the other way about. Would you?
The pettyness really doesn wear you down.
'Despite being a proud citizen of Scotland I am also an upholder of the Corinthian spirit and a fierce defender of the rules of fair play'
Brilliant.
"Rangers must have something in righting."
Er, that's write.
Let's be honest there are lots of Celtic fans that will do anything to get us out of Europe and this will happen every year from now on. If this doesn't work and we go through they will email UEFA and Fare on song on every game whether they hear them or not.

...and my name in Geraldine and I'm your social worker.
Mordor thats not how you spell bitter
On a side note:
Ram the co-efficient chat.
Nobody wants their rivals to do well, in any competition. Wether its Celtic/Rangers fans, Hearts/Hibs fans, Dundee/Dundee Utd fans.
Can't stand that nonsense.
If we're good enough, we'll make it through. Regardless of co-efficient points.
(Not saying I'd want Rangers kicked out. Far from it. Just don't get why people would ever support their rivals. Yes, it could benefit them later on. But if your rivals benefits would still outweigh your own, what good would that do your club?)
mordor - that did make me laugh. Its up there with peter lawells 'sporting integrity' comment in 2008. Just before THAT tour of japan hahahaha
I was highlighting the irony in the quoted paragraph, there was no bitterness. Please grow up.
'll tell you what good it does the club. The co-efficient whether you like it or not. Whoever wins the league next season has £13 million waiting for them in the bank, therefore attracts a better player.
It also means if Celtic get into Europe they will be playing midweek which makes winning the league easier as they will be more tired.

Well that's exactly what the Celtic fan is saying, and that's what I'm disagreeing with.
Who said anything about supporting your rivals? Nobody.
If the co-efficient goes down. None of us will qualify for years. We wont be seeded in these qualifiers and will get pumped. No half decent players will come and it will get worse and worse.
First and foremost IF rangers didnt have this checked and cleared in time for the match then FFS what the hell are they playing at.
The article on STV seems to suggest that there may be something in it...no comment from Rangers however.
Easy mordor fs,you call it brilliant,I'd call it bitter, tho the author makes a gallant attempt to mask it. Wizny huvin a go personally mate
"Scotland's co-efficient is bad enough" - BarcelonaNil
For me, co-efficient doesn't come into it.
If Rangers broke a rule, they should suffer for it.
I don't think they did btw and I still think that this letter is more petty and embarassing rubbish.
But keep that co-efficient chat well out of this.
Is there actually a case to answer here?
I thought boca was cleared/registered?
I thought boca was cleared/registered?
--------------------
Tim it seems he was registered but he did not have a UK work permit to work obviously in the UK.
"Zeljko Latin, spokesman for Maribor said: "How can the player have the right to play in the European competition on the Thursday night but didn't have clearance to play for Rangers in a domestic match in Scotland three days later?"
I dont know how this works but he is working for a UK company without a licence and I dont know if this means he breached the rules or not...
Tafka if this wizny done properly, then by all means we need oor baws kicked, too much slack admin in the past has left us in a bit of a state, now with a new man in charge I was hopin it'd be nipped in the bud.
HOWEVER this is a sad way to support your team,or not, as it seems these kinda nuggets hate us more than they love Celtic
Jesus you lot - They should be flung out if they broke the rules, but a fan actively trying to get them flung out is pathetic, and the coefficient is totally relevant to this.
Every time someone goes out of Europe, whether it's to Dynamo Nobody or Me Neither Locomotiv, it gets harder for everyone else. Fluck your old firm rivalry, it gets harder for all qualifiers, including the national team.
It is really very simple. As a non EU passport holder, he needed a Visa for a non tourist entry to the UK. This he did not have.
However, as he did not enter the UK to play the game, it is meaningless.
In addition, tied to his Visa, he needed a work permit to work IN the UK, he did not have this.
But he did not work IN the UK.
That Maribor have tried to do this smacks of desperation, and that any Celtic "fan" site may be involved smacks of normal service being resumed.
BarcelonaNil - If we're good enough, we'll qualify. But we're not.
Dinnae get me started on the national team. Levein has done more damage than anything the SPL teams can manage!
I agreed with the first half. This is pathetic, but co-efficient doesn't come into it at all.
Point taken DC76-
What I was laughing at was if some wee official type at Uefa couldn't see through that garbage then there is no hope.
But he did not work IN the UK.
---------
If you join a UK company, to get paid you need the visa - if working inside or outside of UK shores. Little thing called tax to worry about...
Davie, I honestly dont know if its a breach of the rules, but i would be certain that if it was Rangers and Maribor had done it you would certainly be looking at it...
One thing that doesn't make sense is the actual e-mail. It just doesn't read right. To me its not someone who has spoken English all their life as the structure is back to front at times...
I dont think the website is pushing for 'justice' either. it has been sent to them and they are posting it...
