Johnson isn't out injured, for starters.

He was involved on Saturday, so great article

To be fair the little I've seen of Chambers he looks like a good prospect but Stones is going to be an absolute monster - TOOR - not sure if you've noticed mate but we only give United our cast offs now-a-days, times have changed..keep up

Which cast offs?

Who have we sold to United....well any club recently?

Fellaini....We replaced him with McCarthy and pocketed £15M in the process. We flat rejected a move for Baines so only sold who we wanted to United

If you watched United at the weekend then you will see that they also have a coule of great prospects coming in at CB and are playing well.

Johnson would start easily if he was match fit.

He's just come back from injury and only has had a couple of minutes on the pitch.

The Rusty Cannons dont understand that the squad was named before the game at the weekend

I didn't say you'd sold anyone, why do defensive? I just said with Stones' potential and United's need for a defender, I'd expect them to come in for him.

Oh and I forgot to add the new five year deal he signed in the summer would make our asking price off putting

& I said I dont know if you'd noticed but we dont sell on our best players to United anymore

I mean what was the point of the comment in the first place - tool

posted on 7/10/14

The point was, I think United will come in for him as they need a defender and Stones has the potential to be a great defender. Why do defensive? You'd think I'd stolen your dinner.

Madrid ĺook like they are sniffing around sterling. What can Liverpool do to keep hold of there best players?

posted on 7/10/14

New 5 year deal, massive asking price.....no need or desire to even think of selling.

Sterling looking at engineering a bumper deal or a move to Madrid. Well after Gerrard and Chelsea this is nothing new at Liverpool

Toffees acting as if Everton are no longer a selling club?

That's brilliant.

You don't sell players they just get bored of failure and leave to win things.

The Rusty Cannons.....

Are forced to sell their best players and replace people like Fabregas with Arteta?

Exactly my point. We were still doing this kinda thing two summers ago, even though we've had years of Champions League money and have already paid of a large part of our stadium debt.

You guys haven't even laid the first brick, yet you're not a selling club now, just because a player or two have signed new contracts.

Wow, that one season in the Europa League is really paying it's way, huh?

Think before posting next time, eh?

I guess continually selling your best players while having a new stadium and filling it with players purchased from Southampton must fill you with joy

You'll no doubt find out soon enough. Though to be honest by then I doubt you'll find many Southampton players prepared to take the step down.

Maybe somewhere such as Tranmere Rovers will be a happier hunting ground for you?

Time will tell, I guess.
