I guess continually selling your best players while having a new stadium and filling it with players purchased from Southampton must fill you with joy
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They don't fill it they have thousands of empty seats every game....ask the police
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Still comfortably higher attendances than Chelsea.
We own our own pitch too.

You'll no doubt find out soon enough. Though to be honest by then I doubt you'll find many Southampton players prepared to take the step down.
Maybe somewhere such as Tranmere Rovers will be a happier hunting ground for you?
Time will tell, I guess.

A step down?
I hear that once long ago wenger could develop his own players.....I guess buying talent is cheaper than shipping 100's of lads from overseas to the arsenal youth setup to then just sell them to other clubs
Is that how you own your own grass?
How has any of what you've just said relevant to my original point about you guys thinking Everton are no longer a selling club?
You just waffle away though, champ.
It's your thread, after all.

We only sell players who we deem not good enough.....not have them swiped by other clubs so you can use the money to raid southampton
Even if that were true, which it isn't, once you start having to fund your new stadium it'll be open season on your squad.
Lots for you to look forward to then.

The massive increase in PL money, council and private funding will pay for the stadium
maybe a little EU money/regeneration cash too
How much was it to build yours that you can't fill and have to use lower league players to make a starting 11?

Good one.
As for 'not filling' the Emirates, the tickets are still sold, so apart from missing out on a few HT pie sales the money still comes in.

Are you sure the tickets are not sale/return?
How much did the new ground cost? Well apart from stripping the soul out of your club by moving from your original home?
"Are you sure the tickets are not sale/return?"
Arsenal operate a ticket exchange system, meaning that even if 60k+ aren't always in attendance, the matches are still sold out most of the time.
"How much did the new ground cost?"
Circa £400m
"Well apart from stripping the soul out of your club by moving from your original home?"
As Everton will be doing as soon as they can afford to.
Even if that means selling players...
I mean, it's hardly as if any Champions League money is on the horizon any time soon, is it?

I never said the soul wouldn't be stripped from the club, a ground move is the last thing I want.....but the current ground is just not upto scratch.
Are you trying to tell me that every single seat is sold each week at Arsenal?
I find that very difficult to believe.....like wenger saying he never saw that
"Are you trying to tell me that every single seat is sold each week at Arsenal"
Nope.

But it's close.
No mate Arsenal just put Sold Out on the website for the fun of it
Who cares about money from ticket sales n stuff , lets just pretend it's sold out already
A more pertinent question would be, how often to Everton sell out Goodison Park?

Yet Everton - whom I believe you actually support, right? - have a lower percentage attendance.
Presumably this financial imbalance will be bridged by the local council too?
If not I'm sure Bill will come up with a plan.
Hey, maybe he'll sell some players?
Oh wait, you've already said that wouldn't happen...

We only sell players who are surplus to requirements....
remember Fellaini, then replaced him with better players
You sell your best players who are key, then ask southampton to take loads of your money
Yeah, cause Chambers is no better than Jenkinson, right, which is why the latter is in the senior squad, whilst the former the U21s.
Oh wait...
Your 17th mate

Lukaku's looking good this season too.
