The delusion from gooners is at a high.

McNair or Blackett are sheet apparently, still, the "really skillful" players of Arsenal couldn't break them down.
They have both played a lot for us this season we have conceded one more goal than you, playing an extra game.
The only thing keeping your team in the top 4 is Wenger, so please, all your fans at Emirates, keep booing him
Wait woops, "highly skillful".

This is patently untrue. We broke them down multiple times... Wilshere and Welbeck just couldn't get past De Gea (which they should have).
Greg cannot handle the fact that his team is now shít and Fergie won't be hear to rescue them
Nah, the only chance you had was when Wilshere got through and bottled it, typical bottle job from Arsenal even in front of their home crowd, although when you have a stadium of fans booing you all the time, I am sure it gets to you after a while.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
We will never win the league while Wenger is in charge. Never.
I'm not quite sure why everyone is making such a fuss. The last few windows we've had a big summer signing and squad strengthening in terms of quality of player in vs out.
We as fans have said several times our squad is a couple of signings away from properly challenging. Hell, had Ramsey and Walcott stayed fit, we,d have been in mix come the end of the season if not points clear.
So quite frankly, Arsenal winning the league in the next 3 years is in no way the ludicrous proposition people are making it out to be. Lets face it, all he really has to do to get it done is buy a top CB and top DM. He can literally buy the title for 70 mil come summer.
You can't say on one hand that another manager would get the team winning things quickly but then turn around and say Wenger's insane for saying he can win the title inside his contract.
And for everyone relishing the prospect of new management, unfortunately for us, a drop out of the top four after AW is a far more likely outcome than some sudden jump to champions. So many that want him gone massively underestimate the destabilising effect his leaving will have. Not to mention the fact that most of the players we have at Arsenal are there because they want work with Wenger. Everyone is assuming they will stay put when he leaves. The way footballers are, I wouldn't be too sure about that at all.

Blind, Herrera, rojo, shaw and mata would also get into your first team. You could possibly put Fellaini in goal too, he's better than that pole you have in goal.

I think Serial was just trying to WUM with that comment, I would just ignore it.
Greg, Wilf, appreciate the tag team battle here, but this article is about Wenger's title claim, and not United.
WengersBodyGuard - I'm not sure how you can claim we'll likely drop out of the top 4, unless you think we've been over achieving for a decade now. Wenger has assembled bunch of players who've pretty much done what their wages would suggest. Unless Roy Keane took over from Wenger, I doubt we'll drop out of the top 4.
In the last team we've had some real quality players, and not got close to winning the league. Cesc, RVP, Nasri, Hleb, all in the same team. So history would suggest that it's in fact the manager that's stopping us from actually winning the league.
I'm afraid Wenger will just sit out his 3 remaining years and only then are we likely to see us challenge. Wenger is just too stubborn to address his many flaws.
United fans are doing what we did to them last season, praying for Moyes to stay because we knew he was holding them back. They know with a competent manager we continue our new found trend of finishing miles ahead of them and winning trophies they have no chance of competing for. They know if we get rid of our incompetent manager before they get rid of theirs, the gap will only widen to the extent it will take years to close again.
Serial you're biting at the WUMs a bit easily here. As if Greg's list of random players even got a reaction

Those guys are all attacking players you mentioned and attacking hasn't ever been a problem for us, even with all those players, the balance hasn't been right for years.
The way i see it, we are signing at least one marquee player every year, which is massive progress from us selling our best player every year.
And Wenger HAS to spend on the defence this Jan or summer because we are fully stocked in the attacking department. So expect a marquee DM or CB.
Also i genuinely don't think we'd have Ozil or Sanchez here if Wenger wasn't our manager, his name is a big pull for footballers whether you like him or not.
Those guys are all attacking players you mentioned and attacking hasn't ever been a problem for us, even with all those players, the balance hasn't been right for years
----------------------------------
And that imbalance of the defensive side of our game has occurred because of.....Arsene Wenger. Wenger has never been a fan of the defensive side of the game.
In fact, Wenger inherited the GG defensive back 5 and it served him well. Their immediate successors inherited the defensive discipline of that GG defensive.
It's only when Wenger implemented an entirely different defensive line-up, his own defence, did our imbalance become a problem. It's been 10 years now and Wenger has never bothered to sort out the defensive side of our game, so i'm not sure why people are hoping he'll sort it now.
greg
i'm not saying your players can't defend, just that they're not the "Type" of player that Wenger uses, hence they'd not get anywhere near our team. No point in trying to claim your players are something they're not.
Wenger has never been a fan of the defensive side of the game.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Neither am i tbh,
didn't Wenger buy Campbell and Toure?
We set out to attack teams and outscore them, hence why we can get caught out at the back sometimes but i don't want us playing boring defensive football, we done that in parts last year and it bored the chit out of me.
Lehmann
Lauren Kolo Sol Cashley
Vieira Gilberto
That was not a GG defense, Wenger built that defense. It's not really true he has never been a fan of the defensive side of the game, he used to value that side very highly, to the extent for years we were the best counter attacking team in the land.
Even in the early days of the trophyless era, we set a defensive record on our run to the CL final and would have smashed it if not for Almunia. In 07/08 we played fantastic football built on a solid back line. But then Barca came along with their tiki taka football and Wenger became obsessed with it. Wenger changed for the worse and we've been going downhill ever since.
Also i genuinely don't think we'd have Ozil or Sanchez here if Wenger wasn't our manager, his name is a big pull for footballers whether you like him or not.
---------------------------------------
That is a good point, but that can be countered by getting in a top manager with a great reputation. We pay Wenger £8m a year. That's the 4th highest in world football. We can certainly pay that amount for a top manager.
Agree, we are shooting ourselves in the foot if we appoint Rami Garde as Wengers replacement.
Serial,
but who is this top manager with a great reputation and still has age on his side?

----------------------------
I didn't say that defence was a GG defence. I said the players were around the GG defence of Adams, Bould, Keown and so the influence they had carried to the players. I think only Toure was completely separate from the original pack, but he was more of an athlete rather than a pure defender.
And I have to disagree, Wenger was never an admirer of the defensive side of the game. What he did appreciate, as you've pointed out, what the physical aspect of the team. That Invincible side was a group of beasts. They also dominated possession. You have to have possession of the ball to score, and we had such a control over the ball.
