Will do cahill first, was shaky beginning of the season, and in some parts overly criticised which wasnt really justified. Second half of the season he has been rock solid, but so has most our defence. Out of the last 3 or 4 years cahill has been fantastic, but first 4 months or so this season was a real low point for him due to how consistent he has been.
Oscar, boy, I thought he'd really kick on, but hes been missing since before the world cup, had a really good game at swansea(5 nil win) but other than another handful of performances has been like a little boy lost. Great work ethic and little else. Really outshone by willian this year

1. Di Maria - Started off well but dropped since then, even though he still picks up the assists (Only Cesc has more, I think)
2. Sturridge. Worked so hard last season, he's fecked himself for this season. Now out until September.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Feel a bit sorry for Sturridge, an air of inevitability about the way his career will go from now. It's a shame for England too.
I always liked schurle. but I don't watch Chelsea too often. always seemed to score crucial goals but didn't contribute to the game much. bit like chadli for us
If Chelsea get a offer for Oscar in ther summer I think Mourinho will really consider it.

If he played for any other club (except City), then maybe I might have some sympathy for him.
1. Mertesacker - Has been a shambles the whole year and has cost us crucial points on the way. I didn't expect too much from him but I did assume he'd 'jump' for set pieces considering his height, not doing so vs Stoke & L'pool cost us points at a time we were really struggling, showed a severe lack of character from our vice-captain
2. Oscar - Just looks terrible these days always rated Coutinho marginally higher but now he's way ahead. Oscar has gone from a flair Brazillian to someone only useful for his energy and pressing off the ball.

He'll be gone, good little player but his development has completely stagnated the past 24 months. Didn't quite fulfil his potential, doesn't help you're dubbed the new Kaka.
Harry Kane when he Speaks
Szczesny for Arsenal, was good last season but awful this. Southampton game signalled he hasn't matured at all and should be sold.
Outside Arsenal, Falcao Di Maria and Balotelli. Though the latter was half expected the first two weren't. Especially Di Maria with the season he had with Madrid last year and bring MOTM in CL final. As if 60mill didn't look so bad at first time, now it just looks down right a rip off
Coutinho will be Oscars replacement if the Chelsea player was to leave.

I thought Sterling has had a poor season, but his stats are better than last season.
More game, this season mind.

Was Szcnesczy actually good last year? I've thought for a while now he's a very dodgy keeper
Ramsey and Wilshere have probably disappointed for Arsenal more tbh
Also, a more controversial choice but I really haven't been wowed by Courtouis this year, looked average to decent but was expecting more considering the rep he came with
"1. A player that plays for your club"
Has to be Szczesny. Golden Glove last year, finally looked like becoming the keeper we all hoped he could be, but has regressed. Disappointing.
"A player in the league, but who doesn't play for your club"
Falcao. Incredible just how atrocious he has been. Case for Di Maria too.

Yeah was good last season, won golden glove. Ramsey has been better recently, though in all fairness no one other than Aelxis was good in the first part of the season. Wilshere has spent majority of the season on sidelines
Good article
At Liverpool it's Lovren or Sterling although I think Lovren will improve next year and become a mainstay in the side whereas Sterling will leave and ruin his career.
Other than Liverpool, Falcao is just too easy so I'll plump for Di Maria who I thought would be the best player in the league but hasn't even been close.
Next year I think it'll be Sturridge at Liverpool because I think his career will struggle with injuries and outside of Liverpool I see it being Sanchez unable to build on a great first season.
"Sterling will leave and ruin his career. "
Seems like a bold statement to make. How many players have left Liverpool and ruined their careers? Then how many have left and gone on to lift a couple of trophies?

Michael Owen. That's the way I see Sterling's career going. If he stayed at Liverpool for a few more seasons he'd get so much game time to develop into a first team player at a top side but if he joined City, Real or Barça then he's never get in the first team and his career will stagnate.
Balo - even though he has improved in his lost recent outings, it isn't saying much cos he didn't even look like a footballer early on in the season. So Frustrating, cos if his mind was wired right, he would be one of the best!!
Falcao - what happened to him? He's a bigger liar than Lance!
