Most Disappointing Player?

Surprised that Mangala got mentioned, he's been one of our best players for the past month.

Di Maria was for a month too... Over the season, they have been dreadful though

That's nonsense, Bats. Cesc isn't only the top assister, he's the top chance creator, AND has created the most clear-cut chances - including putting players through on goal more than anyone else in the league. The whole thing about Cesc simply assisting easy set-pieces is a myth. His regression has mostly come in his possession play compared to his Arsenal days. But this has a lot to do with Chelsea's system. And still, he's statistically one of the most efficient passers. Overall, Cesc has still been the best CM in the league this season.

TBF why Wenger puts Ramsey wide right I don't know

No 5-goal spanking yet, this season. Filling the midfield with bodies seems to work.

the whole QPR squad apart from Austin tbh.

there is no way that squad should be bottom of the league.

connor wickham at sunderland is another one I don't quite get. was meant to turn into a top class player wasn't he?

Cesc has basically turned into a final ball man. Surely you can see he's not the same elite level player? Offers nothing else which is the last thing you'd expect from Fabregas. And he's far from the best cm in the league, his fellow peers didn't even bother acknowledging him in team of season which says a lot (sure it's not credible but someone with so many assists, it speaks volumes)

Schurrle assist vs Burnley - excellent

Ivanovic assist vs Burnley - corner

Costa assist vs Leicester - 5 yard pass to left wing, Costa takes on 3 players and scores from relatively tight angle

Costa assist vs Swansea - corner

Costa 2nd assist vs Swansea - good cut back

Costa assist vs Arsenal - excellent pass

Drogba assist vs United - corner

Oscar assist vs QPR - simple pass, excellent finish

Hazard assist vs WBA - corner

Drogba assist vs Newcastle - free kick

Terry assist vs Stoke - corner

Hazard assist vs Southampton - good pass but really individual excellence from Hazard, he made the chance for himself

Hazard assist vs Spurs - good vision and pass

Willian assist vs Swansea - good pass

Costa assist vs Hull - good pass but again goal came from Costa's individual excellence

Terry assist vs Leicester - corner

That's 7 assists from set pieces, and 4 final touches before excellent individual goals from his 16 assists in total. Also it doesn't surprise me he has the most chances created when he is the main playmaker of the best team in England and has played nearly every minute of every game. He's only scored 3 goals, too. For a finisher as good as Cesc to only have 3 goals in this Chelsea team considering how many minutes he has played is criminal.

He has been a big let down.

My Club - Moreno, maybe my expectation of him was too high, but he made so many mistakes that have cost us goals.

Other club - Kompany, he has had a dross season to be fair, certainly nowhere near his usual standard

posted on 13/5/15

Kompany just isn't really that good. One outstanding season when City first won the title, before and after he has never been anything special.

ADM - biggest disappointment.

Falcao? Big rep but is it that surprising?

Di Maria has been the most disappointing player in the PL this season when you consider that Utd bought him for £60 million.

Apart from a few glimpses here and there he's been a big disappointment and I rated him highly before he went to Utd.

Falcao has also massively underperformed but wasn't bought for silly money so for that reason Di Maria is the most disappointing player in the PL this season.

Luis, thought we were getting the best left back in the world.

Lovren, made even worse by the fact Southampton replaced him with Alderwierld who's been nothing short of brilliant.

I think Kompany's struggled since Mancini left tbh. Speaks volumes when their most consistent CB under Pellegrino has been Demichelis
