De Gea

Despite all the hype, he's been a liability at times and - in many cases - has been lucky that his mistakes didn't cost us games.

Michael Owen. That's the way I see Sterling's career going. If he stayed at Liverpool for a few more seasons he'd get so much game time to develop into a first team player at a top side but if he joined City, Real or Barça then he's never get in the first team and his career will stagnate.

--------------------

Owen, maybe. He still managed to lift a Premiership Trophy and League Cup after leaving Liverpool.

ADM for us.

Drogba for Chelsea.

Own club: Debuchy.
Had big shoes to fill, but the poor lad went from one long injury layoff right into another. Always thought he looked well 'ard when he was at Newcastle.

Other club: Falcao
Seemed to have gone off the boil at Monaco, but completely out of form at United this season.

I was on about this last week. I find him sooooo overated. even when he first broke through he didn't impress me much. scored a couple of screamers, but decision making is awful.

still young though.

1. Markovic. Although he hasn't been given much of a chance, hoped for him to be really good. Maybe he will be in time, but so far disappointing.

2. Di Maria. Was worried when Man U signed him (especially supplying Falcao ffs) but somehow he's got rubbish!

Dunno who was expecting anything from a 37 year old Drogba last August

Also, bit of an odd choice but I thought Sandro could be a very good signing for QPR

Fabregas you might just as well put Diego Costa and Alexis Sanchez there too

I'll admit he faded after Christmas somewhat but his assists in the first part of the season were vital

Barkley, I liked him despite quite poor stats last season, bbut this season he seems to have lost everything that made him a good prospect last season.

In 13/14 he always drove forward with the ball, was direct, exuberant and progressive, very forward thinking. In games I've watched him this season he looks a totally different player, and low on confidence. Against us if there was space in front of him, he'd turn round and pass it to McCarthy. Don't know what's happened to him

Also Dembele for me is a wasted talent, I really think if he could easily be one of the best box to box midfielders in the last few years of PL if he was more consistent, took more risks, and just had a better football brain really. Having said that he's still miles better than that fraud Mason (he was a sub in league 1 last season )

other non spurs poor performers imo...

shaw, Moreno, lovren, markovic, lallana, Fernando, navas, kompany (may be wrong on this - but seems off the pace this season), obviously yaya toure, ramsey, ben arfa, abel hernandez at hull, the west ham strikers that started so well, that flying winger at Swansea... expected more from him

Paulinho. He was alright first season, strong goal return when he was rumoured to be leaving to Juve last summer a lot of Spurs fans (myself included) didn't want this to happen. Until lately he has been absolutely hilarious this areas on. (I don't rate Jan and never have tbf)

Yaya Toure. Still an impressive goal return and had a good December, but since then he has been petulant, he hasn't tried, and City have been better without him. Kompany has been equally as disappointing.

Not because he faded after Christmas, because he has been no wear near as influential as he was at Arsenal and is not half the player I remember him to be. I was devastated when he went to Chelsea, now I genuinely don't give a fack about him and would rather have Cazorla, that is how little he has impressed me. You can reel out all these stats on his assists but if you actually look at them, they haven't been that great, mostly set pieces or the final pass before an outstanding individual goal.

.......................

I was expecting better things from him than some of his shameless time wasting antics.

Ramsey is a good shout. Lovren has also disappointed me, last season he was great. However many defenders struggle first season and I think he may well improve as his Liverpool career impresses.

Moreno has slightly disappointed me given he was one of the most coveted LBs in Europe last season. He hasn't been bad but just hasn't been great or even shown much potential. He is young though.

Markovic is awful too btw, he'll be gone within 2 years, the guy is never in control of the ball

posted on 13/5/15

Yeah Fabregas has been underwhelming. Gone are the days where he would actually control the game

1. A player that plays for your club

Toure/Kompany

2. A player in the league, but who doesn't play for your club

Di Maria

Surprised that Mangala got mentioned, he's been one of our best players for the past month.

Ramsey?
Out for 4 months but still manages 10 goals from 38 appearances across the season. That's pretty decent considering where he plays.
