I had one of the original atari consoles when I was a kid, saved up for months to buy it.
It was amazing playing such games as Space invaders and Asteriod at home
I remember when my brother cam home with the original binatone's consoles, it was amazing playing 4 different types of games on your TV

Seriously though, a shop round the corner from where I grew up used to get arcade games in, so in order of best to worst....

Manic Miner was great - I had to go 'round my friends house to play that though. Jet Set Willy annoyed the shít out of me.

PS2 - GTA, Need for Speed - Can't really remember what other games I had for that - takes me right up to being about 13/14

I once had a proper fight with my mate over a game of Scrabble. We were using predictive text to determine whether something was a word or not because we didn't have a dictionary, and he didn't agree with one of the words I put in

Super Mario All Stars, recently "fell" on to my mobile phone. For which i've got a blutooth control pad
I loved all 3 Marios when they first came out. I competed them in this order...........
1, 3, 2
Other games worth a mention Pre Playstation.
Punch Out.
Sensible World Of Soccer (my all time fave football game pre PS/Xbox)
Olympic Gold.
Nintendo World Cup.
My fondest memory of playing monopoly is when your about to be bankrupt just pick the board up and fling it in the air sending all the houses/hotels etc flying across the room thus rendering the game null and void.
