Flash I used to play a lot of Sonic on it as well although can't remember what else. The old memory isn't what it once was.
I got a game called European Club Soccer. There was a cheat on it called "Three Shredded Wheat" gave you an impossible to save shot

Still got it in the cupboard - it comes out occasionally when we're drunk, for a bit of Mortal Kombat normally. "Topsie!"

Getting a player sent off on a earlier FIFA for snapping the GK in half, because he keeps saving everything!!
Ghostbusters on the Spectrum was tremendous.

I never understood why in the earlier versions of Fifa on PS1, you could press the R1 button to do 'serious foul'...
And you could foul the keeper for a straight red while he had the ball in his hand.
Also, news today that FFVII is being remade! That could be good.

Manhunt is the only game I've played and thought "What WTF is this?"

Half we time we forgot about the football and played 'who can get the match abandoned first'
First to 5 red cards wins (or loses?)
If you're talking adventures then Zork (on a TRS-80) was my favourite. Although I enjoyed most of the Level 9, Adventure International (Scott Adams) and the Infocom games of the time.
All you whippersnappers who had computers in school.
I was 20 when the Spectrum came out but I had already taught myself programming on the aforementioned TRS-80 2 years earlier.
anyone play a game called 'Gazza 2' ? You could press esc and it would result in a 5-0 for you
