I think Firmino is going to be ace, we're just suffering under Brodge's tactical stubbornness for now.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This...
exactly this.
which is why he will probably need to go
And as others are pointing out, his lack of star appeal isnt helping with transfers
I think the star appeal thing is largely irrelevant.
If we had some highly publicised 'warchest' of money players would come IMO.
We don't, are a Europa side, and we attract the quality our finances and place in the league warrants.

Liverpool are worse than Spurs... wow
Admittedly a bad result, but the performance was a step in the right direction.
Thought we thoroughly deserved to win but it's a poor result.
hopefully the 2 strikers penny has dropped

Try going over a year without water though. Don't think hope would do you any good should that happen.

much better today,
Ings and firmino both putting in good displays up front shows we could have played this way all season though,
which has to ask questions on Rodgers judgement with regards to returning to the failed 4-3-3 for the fourth season in a row..
say we scrape 4th this season, will he sabotage our early form again ?

People forget the sitter Matt Jarvis missed. Norwich then sat back happy to take the point so naturally we were going to dominate. We should not be getting excited over player slightly better than a promoted side at home.
And we are not kash.
what we are happy about is a return to a style of football that will yield results given settling time and a few games for studge to attain fitness.
We can only judge the style of play when we are against better opposition. I think our first half performance at Arsenal was much better than today.

Nonsense. We're talking about the style of play and team selected. It's irrelevant who the opposition is. The main point from today is that the manager has hopefully realised he needs to get back to an attacking style rather than a try not to lose style.
I wonder when opposition managers will cotton on to exposing Can again in the 3 in the back system?
My guess is that it will take less time than last season.
Clyne will give him more protection, but imo Clyne may struggle with the attacking side of the game playing as a WB. He's a full back and a decent one too
I thought Clyne attacked more than he has for us.
I thought he looked like a full back playing as a winger. He wasn't awful by any means , but he chose the safe option most of the time and his crossing was poor.
Moreno on the other side looked very good today, but conversely, when playing full back he looks like a winger.

Is it really that bad?
