When we get into spoilers.
But as I say, there’s only gonna be a season 2, so it’s gonna need it to finish the puzzle. You’ll see. You’ll have questions, and so for that I say yeh, a bit of a bumpy landing, but… I got the feels that’s for sure.

It sucks now we gotta wait a bit. So yeh, but I agree with Taki’s take on it. We’ve praised the writing, direction and acting. But I think it’s fair to say overall, it’s close, but Mando comes out on top.
But Andor is way clear of anything else. Loved everything they did with this show. It really is a gift of a show, that we didn’t see coming.

I meant Andor but maybe I do need to watch The Last Crusade again too, as it's been 10+ years since I last saw it.

I still prefer the Mummy to any Indiana Jones movie.

Andor is much better than Mando for me. Still not sure I understand the hype with Mando. Lets toss in a recognised face every episode or two and then a cuddly little toy for extra media clicks.

I’m gonna say it’s a tie.
Andor has the Writing/Acting. Mando has the ‘traditional’ Star Wars themes, and brings a new character into the universe.

I dunno, I’m now thinking Andor takes the W here...

We have to get into spoilers why I think Mando overall.
It is lopsided cos it’s 2 seasons vs Andors 1.
And there are issues I have, that marks it down, but, no doubt overall Andor is a high standard show.

I said a few episodes ago that I thought Andor was better than Mando 1 and if they nailed the ending, it might run Mando 2 close (as an overall series).

Having just finished episode 12, I’ll stick with it being better than Mando 1 but it doesn’t run Mando 2 close imo.

I’ll reflect again tomorrow but initial reaction is episode 12 is one of the most disappointing ones of the series. Which given its the finale, it’s a shame. Overall quality of the series has been fantastic though.

Shame to hear that about the episode. Without seeing the finale yet, I'd currently put Andor above Mando. Nothing against the latter which is excellent too.

Guv,.. on the subject of Indiana Jones, me and Pun are in complete agreement here. There’s no mind trick here, or in this case drinking The Blood of Kali Ma.

We just recognise what great films they are.
Added to that, personally, Last Crusade, was the last film my late Dad took me to see. And being the story it was, about Father and Son, it will always have more significance to me than maybe it should, but nonetheless, I was already an Indiana Jones fan, and Last Crusade was the perfect icing and a great memory i’ll always cherish.

I’ve said this already, it’s all about opinion. That’s your take on Indiana, it is what it is. You just crazy.
But you know I will always have your back, and will be by your side, as we take on the might of the Marvel thread. There’s no heel turn coming from me.
The Force is strong. Always. This is the way!

agree with andor > mando S1.
The season 2 peak is just higher, i think Andor has the better dialogue, but its the big moments that you remember the most about a series

I have String. I'm not going to say too much because I don't want to get anywhere near spoiler territory, but for me it was a disappointing climax to the series.

Doesn't impact too negatively on the series as a whole for me though, I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was refreshing to see the success of a series being put in the hands of good characters, good actors and good dialogue rather than set-piece visuals.

I hear ya Naby. I do think it’s one of the weaker eps in the series, but it’s a high standard we talking about.
But just didn’t feel like a finale.
Now if this was the penultimate episode, this could’ve easily been mixed in with Ep 11. Some bits cut out for time. It would’ve set it up very nicely for the last ep I think.
