Other plot holes in SW:
Leia remembering her mother?
Luke being hidden with his uncle?
Why didn't Obi Wan change his name?
Vader never sensing Leia was his daughter?
Luke never sensing Leia was his sister?
Obi Wan not remembering R2?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

why we never see pin up posters of twi-leks
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is the way.

Why did nobody go to Mandalore?

From what the show has told us, the Empire glassed the planet and wiped out most of the population. What was left was a wasteland and the surface may actually have been poisonous at one point. They also extracted the Beskar. Any surviving Mandalorians were scattered around the galaxy and they never went back as they believed it to be cursed. Those that didn't believe in the curse never went back simply because there was nothing left.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
sorry but just to add ot this there is 100% still Beskar on the planet. Mando literally found some.

I’ll post on the NFL board.. lot of drama!

So… yes, George can be blamed for tripping himself up, but, he still created gold with the Prequels, and what the Clone Wars has done to make that period of time so interesting. But I think what we’ve seen from the sequel era has been nothing short of shocking….

And instead of trying to rescue them, they have gone further back, enhancing the prequels even more.
Can the Sequel era, ever be saved?

Semantics.

The Empire extracted the Beskar. Is there a chance that some still remain, sure, it's a bit planet and I doubt they scoured every inch of it.

I love the prequels and originals, regardless of the plot holes and bad writing. It's SW not The Godfather. A certain pinch of salt is required.

they dont need to mando found some in 2mins.

fact remains there is plenty still on that planet as we found out. And a galaxy full of people that would have been at the very least bit nosey!

again on its own is it big problem... no not, i can deal with it.

But the droid stuff between ep 1 & 2 is plot holey dumbness we seen in OB1 and Boba and never seen in either series of mando previous.

Am i saying its a right off , not at all. just that im seeing signs in this season of mando that I never seen in series 1 & 2 but I did see in what I consider to be pretty terrible SW content in OB1 & BoB

Ok ok, so maybe I have to rewatch.. the Droid issue.
He goes to see Greef Karga, cos Mando wants IG-11 restored.
He is offered a new droid but declines.
He goes to Tatooine to see if Pel can restore him, she says no, and offers R5, and he takes him.

I mean, is it really that bad?

thats fair, its just my opinion on the first two episodes.

thats all we have seen so all i can go on. to me the droid situation is rather glaring. There has been loads of little plot holes so far in the first 2 episodes. I can brush them all off hence why I havent brought them up. I just think the planet and the droid are two pretty massive plot holes that you dont expect to see in Mando especially in the two opening episodes of the new season. especially as Favreau has written both maybe also a little worrying that Favreau doesnt know where he is going with the mando story line yet. so they could Walking dead it and drag it on way longer than they need to and we get episodes that dont progress any of the story and is written lazily.

he says to Karga that he cannot take the brand new droid from him and he only trusts IG-11(that "self-destructed" then the IG-11 scene takes part which is hands down the silliest part of mando so far. Then he takes the offer of the next droid someone offers him, only this on is battered, run down and will cost him ?! then proceeds to go to the planet with droid he doesnt trust which seemed a big deal to him.

its lazy writing and stupid stuf that we are not used to in Mandalorian and did get used to in BoB and OB1.

I hvae quite clearly said many times now that its not a game breaker but it is worrying that the show is showing the signs of other $hit shows involving the same people that it never did in is first 2 seasons.

I hear you Who… maybe it was a way, to shoehorn an Easter egg. ‘Hey it’s R5’, rather than some new droid…
R5 has character as a coward. So it added to it, and you really didn’t want him hurt.
Come on, who wasn’t scared for him?
We wouldn’t of cared as much if it was the new droid, that we hadn’t had time to get to know.

Well its bad if nothing comes of episode 1 which is currently my issue as so far, you could have just started with Ep2 and made 5 mins of episode 1. Now if we are able to come round and get something from Ep1 its useless and a waste of valuable time in these super short seasons. And honestly, before you all scream space pirates you can literally just make them turn up, so even that argument is starting to a little thin - less of a plot hole than young leia by a mile!

Aha I got it.
Karga, needs a Marshall for the City of Navaro.
Remember he offered the job to Mando.
Maybe, as we go along, Bo-Katan and Mando get the message out that Mandalore is rising from the ashes, and we get the reformation of Death Watch, who offer their services to Karga, which he unwittingly doesn’t realise is a bad thing, and Mando and co have to come back and help save the City.

More Mando in-fighting would be a little frustrating after what Bo-Katan was saying this weak about how it makes them weaker.

Leia as superman sucked HAAARD. Felt like cos we all knew Fisher was dead they just teased Leia's death for the sake of it just to get some reaction, at the expense of it make any sense.

And about that Leia scene.. a shout out to the great Admiral Akbar. Got done dirty.
If they had killed Leia in that scene, it would’ve been shocking.. but felt right, if you know what I mean.
I remember at that moment feeling sadness.
Obviously Doubled by the fact Fisher had just passed away....

To see her fly back was so jarring, I’m like ‘Jedi’s can do what now?!’ I mean we reaching Superman 4 levels of foolishness.
