The PL was a weak league in the 90s, btw Stretty.
We should really discount Coles record in the 90s.

Again you cannot seperate what you see now with what was going on when you were a toddler.

And Arsenal and the pl is currently in the worst state since its inception.
Oh yeah forgot you think palace are good
2 league wins in 6 months
You really have no clue
Manchester United were the only club who could make any sort of impact in the two main European comptetitions, and that was the last couple of years of the decade.
All other English representatives were well out of their depth. Really struggled in the UEFA Cup, teams getting absolutely hammered.
And the UEFA cup was taken seriously back then.
It was a weaker league than many of Europes top leagues.
It was potentially weaker than Spain and Italy. That is it.
And our teams still get hammered in the UEFA cup.
As for nowadays it's only Chelsea apart from us that make their mark in the CL.
certainly not Arsenal or city is it.
Not semi finalists this season Manchester City??
It was weaker than Spain, Italy, Germany, France, Netherlands in the first few years of the decade at least,.
The English league was very weak in comparison for most of the 90s. Crap players, crap teams, the likes of Andy Townsend and Tim Sherwood were the best players in the league
Arsenal have never failed to get out of the group stage this decade. Most English clubs failed to get off the bottom of the group.
Teams perform far better in the Europa, and they don't even take it seriously. Back in the 90s it was a major trophy, and English teams got major spankings
Really would like your definition of a strong and a weak league, because there is absolutely no continuity in your arguement (same with your top 10 strikers arguements)
Not semi finalists this season Manchester City??

80s?? This discussion is about the 90s. England were banned from Europe in 1985, so not sure if we ran European football for the 80s
The point is the league was strong and had we not got banned we would of continued winning it
France and Holland I hope you know I'm never letting that go. That's nearly as bad as your palace are a good team gaff

So because the league was strong in 1980 it is still strong in the nineties? Despite our clubs terrible performances in the main in the 90s?
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Our best players all did a runner, Rangers had more England internationals than any English club ffs.
And yes, anyone older than a toddler in the 90s will know the Dutch and French leagues were stronger than the English equivilent.
I see you refused the invitation to explain your idea of a strong and weak league.
Probably aware it will easily be used against your arguments.
Also notice you failed to confirm your belief Andy Townsend was world class.
