The point is TTIP was negotiated behind the backs of all the governments. Do you honestly think it would have even got of the ground had it been publicised? Why do it if it had Brussels had no intention of it passing?
The fact that US election campaign and Bernie Sanders in particular had taken a stance is the only reason you would even know about it till it was too late.
After which what if a future labour government wants to out? What then? Tough luck because 'total free trade at the cost of regularity bodies' is OK for the conservatives now? You don't see a democratic deficit in that?

They promised that the nuclear missiles they housed here were safe and when they crashed a plane into one of there facilities and almost caused a nuclear explosion.
They covered it up an carried on as normal putting millions of lives at risk once again.
Are you telling me that they do have respect for human life in the UK, taking that information into consideration?

I absolutely understand where you are coming from, and there is weight in your argument. Any repealment of TTIP would post-ratification would require an unlikely consensus across national governments or in the European Parliament.
But again, we shouldn't miss the facts that:
- All negotiations around US trade deals are done this way. It's not transparent, it's not right, but it's not the EU that has pushed the closed-door approach. Any new US-UK trade deal would see negotiations undertaken the same way.
- Our own British MPs and MEPs are very heavily involved in the shaping of this trade agreement. It is not being drawn up by unelected technocrats.
- Any MP or MEP can read the full details of each version of each paper published. Granted, they have to go to Brussels or a US consulate to do so - which absolutely shouldn't be the case - but no British MP can say they do not have access to the full details of the agreement-in-progress.
- The agreement will be subject to scrutiny and has to be ratified by national parliaments and the EU Parliament. It will go round and round the houses, and quite frankly, I don't think there's any chance it will be enacted before 2020, so the public across Europe will have their chance to have their say once again before any vote, and I think many people already have very strong feelings about TTIP, myself included.

All boards have been quiet lately. On all boards we usually have an equal share of opposition fans. Not so at the moment.
Couple of reasons for this dearth of traffic could be attributed to one of, or a mixture of a couple of things:
- Mourinho has everyone worried. Nobody wants their crap rehashing when Jose brings home trophy X, Y, Z.
- We've been sheite for so long people don't care anymore.
The lack of fight shown by all the usual suspects - Liverpool, City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham (they've been particularly quiet since end of season, which is understandable) - has them recoiling in silence
- We've all decided to end the inter-board fighting (BOOO!) and get behind each others players for the Euros conjoining our support into one big tidal wave of success.
- Everton have had a takeover bid accepted and we're all living in the shadow of "The People's club" as we await the sleeping giants rise from it's slumber.
- Evryone got biiitchy and we're all banned from each others boars.
And finally Brexit, In or out?
