f you reàlly don't know, then you are more ignorant than I gave you credit for.**

omg the icing on the 'stupid' cake

the answer was it is a contradiction

You know we won't actually be physically moving our islands in the case of a vote to leave, don't you?**

yep, but if we are at the back of the 'line' with America then we don't need to keep their nuclear weapons here, this democracy thing is wonderful ya know

Our 'special relationship' with the US is far more of a threat to British lives than our membership of the EU or any of its member states.**

I dont think it is, USA has alot in common with Britain, more than the EUI've always felt alot closer to USA and Australia than Europe and the 'others'
----------------------------------------------------------------------

They almost turned the east of England into a nuclear desert and they house there nukes here so the Russians kill us before them.

Yup we are BFF's.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You're just a conspiracy theorist. You don't back anything up with hard evidence. You just scour the net for articles that back up you theory. The so called evidence you produced that claims Bin Laden wasn't behind 911 could have been fabricated.

America don't control trident.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I didn't say he wasn't behind 9/11 you fabricated that.

I said he denied and claimed responsibility so don't lie.

From a brilliant John Pilger documentary...

Tell me whats wrong with the quotes below and the documentary by an award winning investigative journalist.

The guy won a Pulitzer Prize ffs.

Admiral Gene R. La Rocque, US Navy:

"We fought WW1 in Europe, we fought WW 2 in Europe and most of the Americans would like to fight WW 3 in Europe if we have to fight another WW.

The United States ever since WW2 had this idea of a forward base system. We want to keep a forward base system in the UK, Europe, southern Europe that whole tier , so that if we do become involved with a war for the Soviets, we can fight the war there and not in the United States.

Pilger goes on to explain that the UK has more foreign bases compared to a lot of other countries and almost all of them are American...... oh and they are targets for the Russians.

He goes on to say that none of them are committed to the safety of the UK and are just here to provide an American front line.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2aSpaRu2Fk

In the same documentary the Americans say in a report that nuclear weapons are stored safely in the UK without incident.

They covered up the fact that in July 1956 a US B47 crashed into an atomic bomb store in Suffolk. 23 years later a retired American general comes out and says that the eastern part of England almost became an Atomic Desert.

I think the back of the line comment was a specific reference to negotiation of a new trade deal

All boards have been quiet lately. On all boards we usually have an equal share of opposition fans. Not so at the moment.

Couple of reasons for this dearth of traffic could be attributed to one of, or a mixture of a couple of things:

- Mourinho has everyone worried. Nobody wants their crap rehashing when Jose brings home trophy X, Y, Z.

- We've been sheite for so long people don't care anymore.

The lack of fight shown by all the usual suspects - Liverpool, City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham (they've been particularly quiet since end of season, which is understandable) - has them recoiling in silence

- We've all decided to end the inter-board fighting (BOOO!) and get behind each others players for the Euros conjoining our support into one big tidal wave of success.

- Everton have had a takeover bid accepted and we're all living in the shadow of "The People's club" as we await the sleeping giants rise from it's slumber.

- Evryone got biiitchy and we're all banned from each others boars.

And finally Brexit, In or out?

I didn't ask for the cause, I asked why you think they are backwards thinking.**

what's wrong with this statement? anyone?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

"I didn't ask for the cause, I asked why you think they are backwards thinking. Specifics, to avoid more confusion..."

Funny ho you didn't copy and paste the entire thing.

So what are the specifics, give us an example of the peoples backwards thinking in Turkey?
**

the cause is the 'root' of the tree, deal with the cause and everything else follows, you're not controlling the debate btw nutjob, stop assuming, implying and asking people to confirm things for you
----------------------------------------------------------------------

So you don't actually know why you don't like Turkey. Brilliant.

More hollow words from 'really?'

Turkey, has a foothold left on the European continent and for centuries held sway over the Balkans.

They were courted by NATO because of their strategic position on the southern border of the USSR, as a base for US long range bombers, like all 'Muslim' countries they have a deplorable track record of human rights.

Cameron was extolling their membership not that long ago and now he says they will not make the grade until 3,000 ad and he says Leave are telling lies. Pull the other one.

If the Commission wants them in to stop more immigration, re the dodgy refugee deal already signed, they will twist enough arms to get the majority vote they need.

The EU works on behind the scenes deals and dodges to further their political objectives.

We should get out while we still have a chance to determine our own direction, independently of the European march to a superstate.

You didn't say that... you said "Nobody is going to attack us while we remain in the EU" which is ridiculous.

And also, besides the point I am IN, with free movement and open borders of course we are more likely to be attacked

----------------------------------------------------------------------

The west get grief for causing more death and destruction in Iraq then Saddam could have dreamed of.

If you think we went in for Saddam you are deluded, it's accepted now that our government lied about WMD's for oil.
