It seems groovy and boss don't know what percentages are.

Gooners no all about percentages.

No one could accurately predict what a leave vote would lead to. Experts did give their view but Gove and co said don't listen to experts.

So a year down the line, the outcomes would be visible, if people don't like what they see and they were fed lies in the first place, they should get a second chance at it.

Cameron said it was a NO GOING BACK REFERENDUM!

I doubt you would be suggesting a 2nd referendum if Remain had won

For the record, I don't want another referendum. This county has made its bed already.

There should be a second referendum to make sure its what we want a year down the line.

Especially when Farage said that the £350m figure is a lie.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
so you want a referendum until you get the decision you want?

They were fed lies in the original referendum

Took 4 decades to get another crack

Awful lot of sad losers about today.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's a bit more than that. It's a decision that's going to have repercussions on all of us for the rest of our lives, and that of our children.

Saw a stat earlier that 58% of the 64+ demographic voted leave, this decision will affect them on average 16 years. 64% of 16 - 24 years olds voted stay with the decision affecting them for an average of 69 years.

It's obvious those in the 65+ bracket are content with benefitting from cheap housing earlier in life and having a nest egg to comfortably get by with, whilst not considering the ramifications for the younger generations. All under the guise of not letting immigrants in, which won't happen.

I'm in an older demographic (not 65+) but am worried about how this will affect my kids and grandkids.

If remain had won, there wouldn't have been an impending recession to stave off.

Right now there is.. how many of the vote leave camp highlighted this could be an issue?

Still dumbfounded how the working class have voted LEAVE tho
-------------------------
Whilst the non working class voted to stay, the gravy train has hit the buffers

Agree. I don't blame the non-voters, really. Let's say I voted Leave (I didn't). I wake up this morning to hear one of the campaign's senior figures retracting one of their promises even while the votes are still being counted. Let's say Remain won: all those people who think Turkey should remain outside the EU might soon have been in for a shock as well.

We rely on honest, clear and impartial information and you could say there has not been enough of it.

Farage was not part of the main leave campaign & everything done under his name was done separately from the remain camp.

Mystig Meg, could you give me the lotto numbers?

So nobody was told about a possible recession? Have a word.

Wages have been suppressed by cheap labour who then send all their money home to other EU countries. How did you expect the working class to vote?
