Both sides have idiot voters.

Especially Remain.

But especially Leave.

I'm off on holiday to Italy, and I hope they know the difference between 'Inglese' and 'Scozzese'.

I wonder how many Unionists in The North/Northern Ireland will actually consider applying for an Irish passport on the back of this, and exercising their right to dual nationality?

I don't know, I'd say there are a lot of idiots that have voted on this with no idea of the impact of their actions. They've taken their disillusionment of politics in general and directed it at the wrong place with no idea of the complexities involved.

This will not solve anything that people think it will, it will make it worse in some places but that's it. We will end up payig to access the single market with no say in it. If we don't continue with free movement of people, then two of our strongest economic sectors will decline as we are a migrant nation (as any strong economy is, we are no worse than others in that regard) and the recession when it does hit will be long and painful.

If the EU does break up as a consequence, then the far right movement will only accelerate and it won't be long until we're back into effectively autocracies all over Europe. I don't know where people get this idea any of that is a good thing, do people not remember the Europe of pre-Berlin wall?

This has been a campaign riddled with misrepresentation and lies and it has led to people thinking they have voted for something that simply won't change what they think it will. Non EU migration, concentration of wealth at the top end and so the stagnation of wages, both of those are the fault of our own government. Blaming this mythical organisation in Brussels, of which we have more say than anyone anyway along with Germany and France, is a fallacy and people won't realise until 5 or 10 years down the line there is a reason why every major trading partner and every economist said it was a bad idea.

They've been lumped in the same bracket as our politicians and that has been the most stupid thing people have done - they have disregarded the actual experts and instead put their faith in the likes of Johnson, Farage, Gove and IDS, none of whom who have given any viable alternative and just said "take back control" and people have taken the bait.

We've disregarded every independent economist and put our faith in the empty words of right wing conservatives. It's the equivalent of believing a mechanic can diagnose your illness better than a doctor and that is the idiocy of it all.

Love him or loathe him, probably the latter for most of you, Nigel Farage has worked tirelessly and devoted the last 25 years of his life for this moment. He deserves it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Farage has already back peddled on this, this morning..and said it was a 'mistake' to put this as part of their propaganda..it will be more like £10 million. Just destroyed our country and future generations lives on lies, lies and more lies.

There should be a second referendum to make sure its what we want a year down the line.

Especially when Farage said that the £350m figure is a lie.

Remain campaign should have done more, certainly in my area where I only ever saw Leave signs, brochures and general campaigning take place.

No one could accurately predict what a leave vote would lead to. Experts did give their view but Gove and co said don't listen to experts.

So a year down the line, the outcomes would be visible, if people don't like what they see and they were fed lies in the first place, they should get a second chance at it.

If the result had gone the other way, Farage would have fought for another referendum. He said so himself.
