I think we have always felt a bit detached from Europe both physically and psychologically. The younger generation probably less so.

The reason I asked is I've seen the 'if you don't like it leave' argument made by quite a few people that voted Leave.

It undermines two arguments made for leaving the EU, and justification of the result.

Firstly democracy. Leave voters always cite the democratic vote and result. But is it democratic suggesting 48% of the voting public remove themselves from the situation because the vote didn't go their way?

Secondly immigration. On one hand voting Leave was a way of 'taking back control' particularly regarding immigration. On the other hand those who voted remain should make themselves economic migrants and emigrate from their native country. Bit hypocritical no?

I was being tongue in cheek. I'm just bored of Red picking up on every single comment and trying to belittle that person. Most people have accepted the vote, and i too would have if it had gone the other way.

Why do you keep saying people followed Farage? For me Gisella Stewart, Daniel Hannan and Andrea Leasdom made the best cases for leave. it's like saying remainers follow Tony Blair or Dianne Abbott
