Mousers should concentrate on trying to get above Everton first, at the moment they are languishing badly as the second team in a two team city.
Historypool, the club that time forgot.
Spurs could do what we did in the CL in 05 this season, they're not the best side in the competition but they have a good team and manager.
My only concern would be playing in Wembley, while it's London it's not home, if they can turn Wembley into a second home they could do it, why not? No one thought we'd go anywhere in 05, Leicester won the fecking league, it can be done.

"You don't seem to comprehend the 'losing' part of being in the final. Yeah I'd rather win in a final obviously"
Na, Spurs fans seem to think that finishing 3rd is an achievement. Actually challenging for trophies doesn't seem important. I find it weird considering you don't won that many.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's about where you finish and titles. And as I've said we've won as much as you in the last 7 years, and reached a final the season before last, yet we've also finished above Liverpool 6 times out of those 7 years.
Could be a good battle between the Merseyside clubs this season Sandy if we can both be more consistent in the league.

"Celebrating mediocrity....you just said you'd prefer to lose finals than compete in Europes top competition and compete at the top of the premier league"
Point is that getting to two finals means actually competing for trophies. Yeah losing isn't nice, but it happens. Spurs fans seem content with finishing above Liverpool and qualifying for the CL twice since the change in name & format.

Everything that's wrong with Spurs and its fans is losing a game
You might be onto something here
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No prioritising a trophy that you have no chance of winning whilst throwing a place in the only competition that you have been remotely competitive in, and that's a stretch, for decades and then compounding it by celebrating mediocrity. Again.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You're all over the place here.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How so? I suspect it's just beyond your comprehension. By choice or ability I'm not sure though.

Celebrating mediocrity....you just said you'd prefer to lose finals than compete in Europes top competition and compete at the top of the premier league.
What would you take this season....2 lost finals and 8th, or a serious title bid, 3rd and CL.
Answer honestly now.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If we're losing both it's all much of a muchness.
What has being in the champions league got either of our clubs recently?
Better players? Nope.
Trophies? Nope.
CL ain't the be all and end all.
As I said to you it's all relative.

And the kicker is Liverpool spent more money in that time.

Claerly this game is the perfect opportunity to settle the debate, Liverpool have beaten Spurs in the majority of league games in the past few years yet have finished behind Spurs in the league, but Liverpool have reached 4 finals in this period winning one, Spurs haven't managed to reach one.
So taking all the above into consideration a 4th round EFL tie is the perfect game to finally resolve this, then we can all be mates again and gang up on some other club.
