Have your riots, it won't happen in my street - hopefully all the s (from both 'sides' will kill each other then all the adults can get on with living.
-------
Maybe that's what they want.
I'll just make sure I'm insured for all kinds of eventualities, use my freedom of movement to go to Ireland or whatever, come back and carry on.
Surprising that me, working for a British company, that operates in europe, makes money and then gives money to the Crown in forms of taxation would have restrictions placed on where and how it can operate to the detriment of the exchequers books.
For what? For what exactly?

Should they be allowed to make wide ranging political, social, environmental, and financial decisions, that will effect the entire country for years, in secret? And then inform Parliament, when the process is finished. Or like any democratic government be subject to analysis/parliamentary debate?
The government would like you to think that transparency would be damaging. However in reality negotiations are more often than not, transparent. Have a look at the EU information in regard to Ceta:
http://ec.europa.eu/trade/policy/in-focus/ceta/questions-and-answers/
Sooooo..
If we remain within the EU, we will also benefit from this trade deal with Canada. Further plus point.

I can tell you that we will not be staying within the EU, most people on the remain side have now accepted this, you may work on angles for a watered down version of Brexit but the decision to leave will stand.

Trust me, there won't be a riot in my street regardless of how people voted. Mr Stevens is too, erm, 'large' to cause anyone any real problems, Mr and Mrs Gregg are just too nice to throw a brick and the Rodgers are already worried anout losing the extra income they get from the nice Polish family living in their garage.

We can agree to disagre but for me and for many, this is still very much about the result.
If it's not a second referendum, it's a soft brexit and if its not a soft brexit it's a matter of transparency.
Its been one hurdle after another.
Should they be allowed to make decisions that will effect the country you ask? The electorate has already answered that. They're merely carrying it out.
You cannot sit in a room and debate who will win and who will lose. The hard part to admit is that Brexit is a risk but one the country is prepared to take, even if some sectors are hit worse than others.
Subject to analysis and parliamentary debate? We've had it for 2 years pal. 3/4 of Parliament want to stay in the European Union. It's a conflict of interests.
Metro.
I am unsure why the government being held to account for administering Brexit, is somehow related to the referendum result. It is not.
The referendum asked if the UK still wanted to be a member of the EU. It did not ask the public if the UK would remain in the SM, or the customs union, or the EEA. Or if the UK should exit the EU regardless of the circumstances.
Would you still jump out of a plane if you found out the parachute was defective?
Do you honestly believe it would be in our economic interests just to completely sever all ties with the EU? It’s unthinkable.
The government therefore has to explore the available options in the best interests of the country. However to undertake such a colossal task in secret, is utterly wrong. As demonstrated by the Tory MP Stephen Phillip’s resignation today.
Do you honestly believe it would be in our economic interests just to completely sever all ties with the EU? It’s unthinkable.

that was what a leave vote was for, you can't move the goalposts because you don't like the decision
all you do is talk about the economy over and over again
we (vote leave) are happy to be worse off in the short term

There's been 3 decades of businesses being built up in the U.K. taking advantage of the common market conditions.
These businesses employ tens of thousands of people across the U.K.
Is it fair for those businesses, and with them, their employees to suffer because someone wants to take a plunge into the unknown?
For what? For what exactly?

imagine having tenders for a building site and one of those tenders is openly debated. It wouldn't see the light of day because its competitors would take its best parts and replace its weak parts. It's worse for Britain if this goes through Parliament because it can only be a weaker Brexit.
We had a parliamentary debate on whether or not to bomb Syria are people honestly suggesting we shouldn't now have a parliamentary debate on Brexit?
Mental.
It's already been debated in parliament and voted on prior to the referendum.
