Anyone who uses airport services to exchange money deserves to ripped off.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nobody deserves to be ripped off, let alone to this extent.

Your comment is as stupid as saying
'any girl who wears a mini skirt deserves to be raped'
or
'anybody who doesn't support Islam deserves to be exterminated'

There really are some stupid people on the planet & I think we've just found JA606's most stupid poster.

Take a bow ToffeEfc

Wow you really are stupid, way more than I thought was possible.

How did you come to that conclusion?

I said your comment was stupid so automatically you think I have exchanged money at an airport.

It's thought processes like that, that lead to wars. I think you need to go lie down, you seem to have taxed your brain cell a bit too much today.

What amazed me is most of those re*ards that voted leave did it for reasons that had nothing to do with leaving. I saw on news channel after Brexit most illerate people who voted leave wanted to remain and that cost the EU.

I hope I pass my driving test and get an EU DL just for the last time EU flag.

Are you sure that it did not mean 88p to the euro?

Nope, I forgot to add a link to the article.

Why bother exchanging money at places like that?

Just withdraw from an ATM in the country you are going to
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think maybe your question is answered in the comment above yours.

Also, don't forget your bank also charges a fee when you withdraw cash from some foreign ATMs (at least in non-EU countries, which includes the Canary Islands) so you could actually end up worse off.

I highly recommend Nationwide to anyone who does a lot of travelling.

With my account (£10 per month) I get mobile phone insurance, worldwide travel insurance, and zero commission and zero charge (by Nationwide at least) cashpoint withdrawals worldwide.

They have saved me an absolute fortune travelling, and have actually been a pleasure to work with, generally speaking. Plus, a building society, so you get a say in how the organisation is run and any profits go back into improving the service and returns you get, instead of further lining the pockets of the already minted.

I've got that account as well. Worldwide travel insurance includes business travel, skiing and watersports which some policies exclude. It also includes UK and Europe wide car breakdown assistance.

Wow I think I just stumbled on the stupid post. Never read such a load of bowlocks all in one post before. If you don't like the exchange rate, either; don't travel abroad. Or DO travel and feckin stay there

My general rule of thumb when abroad is to use credit/debit card where possible and cash only when you don't have a choice.

Here's an article comparing Visa & Mastercard, and also listing different credit cards – all with zero non-sterling transaction fees.

Strange that so many on here refer to the people who voted for Brexit as "idiots" merely for having a different opinion to their own. Prefer a dictatorship would we ? Fack off and live in North Korea then

This is the tip of the iceberg thanks to Brexit.

Within the next 2/3 years we will need:

New, non EU passports = £90(?)

New, non EU Driving Licences = £43(?)

...and we can kiss goodbye to cheap calling rates and roaming charges for mobile phones in the EU.

At least we'll be rid of those pesky European nurses, farm hands and building workers who are keeping the country ticking over.

Nice one.

That comment is as bad as racists. You are calling anyone who wanted out as being a racist, but you havent even got your insult right. Its not brown skinned that wont have as much freedom to come here, but it is predominantly white Europeans.

Most people I know who voted for Brexit did so as they want our elected MP's to make the laws for this country rather than MEP's elected from countries and then theres the whole issue of the directives which are made by unelected civil servants..
