Fascists usually fought and defeated the left when they've been successful, the left has been their opposition. Spain, France and Germany, all defeated their left wing opposition to install their reign of terror.
Anyway, can we all agree that Adebayor was the biggest k** jockey to come out of spurs in the last few years?

Hitler was an anti capitalist, as well as an anti trade unionist.
It is not quite right to think of the likes of Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini or Mao in terms of what we perceive to be left and right today. None were interested in democracy, all were brutal murdering dictators.
Hitler used money as a tool to vain power, which in turn led him to the Jews. This is quite a common school of though among factions of today's anti capitalists - you do not have to search long to find your common garden Jew conspiracy - who are certainly not right wing.
Dictatorships transcend the regular political spectrum. Stalin came from the left, but you can hardly say his record is one of a conscientious, life loving liberal
Corbyn and May have far more in common with eachother than either does with say Stalin or Hitler

A well thought out and measured response as usual. All well within the 140 character Twitter limit too, so another well done
Both actually believe in democracy for one. I know it is a pretty minor thing, but a brutal dictator generally tends to overlook this kind of thing.
Neither are likely to murder millions of their own citizens either. Again, a pretty minor thing but every little counts
Hilarious to think that Hitler is being portrayed by some as a Left wing luvvie. He was an out right wing facist, as was Mussolini, both disposed of all opposition, the Brown shirts when they had served their purpose were ruthlessly crushed and replaced with the SS and Gestapo.

Just had a skim read through the first few pages and noted the interesting topic of whether Hitler could be considered right or left wing.
The fact that this is a matter for debate should tell you all you need to know. He was a bit of a mismatch wasn't he.
If you look at his moral compass and then his economic policies then you could throw Hitler into a wing of his own.
I read a book on him years back about the influence of John Maynard Keynes (keynesian economics) and that itself is often associated with both left and right wing ideologies.

I have stopped responding to Sizzle directly because of the insults and the total lack of reality in his language.

Very tiresome. It is a shame because we often get a good debate going on things whatever angle we approach issues from, but they often get diluted by drivel

Brexit, Trump and there's a lot more to come with right wing parties in Europe.
People are getting fed up and it's showing now, it's gonna get a lot worse before it gets better.
Sizzle is very left wing, fair play to him for sticking to what he believes in even if you wanna throw a sweaty sock at him some times
