Batting 4th will be tough for India but can we overturn a 130+ deficit and make enough of a lead to be competitive?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't see it...well leave them less than 100 to see off
After that last over no chance. Why have we become so average in the field?
Eng consistently going with 6 bowlers despite struggling with the ball begs the question of whether they are better off going with 5 proper bowlers.
We prpbably have our best five fit bowlers out there already though.
Only other potential improvements would be wood and broad, both of whom are injured.
Only one I can think of who might be worth a gamble would be ball, and for some god unknown reason he seems to be behind finn in the pecking order.
Was Hameed injured in the field, or is it from when he got hit batting ?
Too many dropped catches for England will cost

The latter. Cook survives after 2 reviews, one from each side.

You know you're having a bad day when your own team mate asks for you to be given out. *
* (bad - and pretty pointless - joke)
Depends how cook and root go. Could be 100 without loss or 50/2
Cook bowled soon after the reviews (one of which took absolutely ages). 35-1.

Both teams dropped the same amount of catches though.
Moeen dismissed tamely. 47-2.
I used to think Bumble was a top chap but after last game, he showed just how bitter he really is.
I wonder what he'll say this time (if) and when England lose. He was going on about how this game was also a 'win the toss, win the game' pitch.
Stokes out on review at COP. That just about wraps it up.
Very poor technique against spin. Just sitting ducks.

TBH it was a win the toss win the game pitch, england just screwed up with the 1st innings batting.
Not really..even if they hadn't screwed up, India still posted over 400 for their first innings.
Not a single pitch so far has been a rank turner. I think they've all been pretty fair wickets.
We haven't turned up in enough depth basically....batting or bowling

Batting's beeen the real issue i'd say. Giving wickets away too cheaply and easily on a regular basis.
It's a shame, because that Kohli geezer strikes me as about the biggest c@@@ in world sport.

i'd probably say Stokes. Always has a thing or two to say whether it's Kohli, Sakib or Marlon Samuels. Only problem is on all 3 occasions its come back to bite his ass big time.
to be expected. England have been a shambles starting in Bangladesh, Thank fk I didn't get sky sports switched on to view it..
The first thing Cook will say "we have a young side with inexperience blah blah blah.
