You really are a bit thick aren't you?
What I called stupid was your insinuation that the pressure on Karius has been cranked up by Klopp wading in when really the pressure on Karius will have alleviated a bit with everyone focussing on Klopp vs Neville instead of Karius vs Neville.

It's biased to say I think Karius is now under more pressure than he was last week?
--------
And also stupid
Nope.
You clearly said stupid in relation to me saying he's under more pressure now than he was last week.
I believe he is - there's nothing stupid about that.
This really is turning into quite a tantrum from you today, isn't it?
Go on, tell us again how you're laughing.

Coutinho's Happy Feet (U18971)
Yes, I do.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It was being discussed on 5live last night and they made a good point. They were saying how the interview was booked prior to the Bournemouth match with a German journalist. It lasted 50 mins apparently. Karius was asked about Neville's comments and gave his answer in a short sentence and moved on.
They said that he actually deserved praise as most players going through a bad run of form would postpone the interview. They also ripped into Phil Neville for his comments on MOTD2.
Give it a listen when you get chance.

Coutinho's Happy Feet (U18971)
Agreed.
I do think, however, it helps keep the spotlight on him as well.
With my PR hat on, I'd say the better move would have been for Liverpool to create a news story about something else - maybe a big transfer or something like that.
---------
And let a young goalkeeper who is making mistakes be slaughtered weekly in the media while engaged in a twitter battle with a pundit. Stupid move.
Months down the line you'd be first to tell us that Klopp failed to protect his player. There's that bias again.
Coutinho's Happy Feet (U18971)
Cheers, will do.
Though I've read several quotes - so I don't think it can be called a short sentence.
I would still use De Gea as an example though. He had a torrid time, but he didn't speak of it except to say the usual politician answers.
Mamba - Hakuna matata. It's a problem free philosphy (U1282)
Make something up that hasn't happened and use it as part of your argument, and even call me bias because of it.
You're on form this morning.
Nope.
You clearly said stupid in relation to me saying he's under more pressure now than he was last week.
-------
And what's the difference between now and last week? Take your time.
I believe he is - there's nothing stupid about that.
---------
Its the reasoning that led you to this belief that is stupid.
This really is turning into quite a tantrum from you today, isn't it?
-------
You look more foolish by the post. Keep burying your head in the sand as usual.
Go on, tell us again how you're laughing.

This is what Karius said
"He was a top player, then he was a manager for a short bit and now he is back to being an expert again."
How is that not a short sentence?

I stand corrected!!! He also said this;
"But he is always very critical,” Karius added. “I think he does it to everyone. I just hope that when I do well he will comment on that. We will see in the future.”
The point I was making is that in a lengthly interview he didn't discuss Neville that much and responded to a question put to him.

When I say you're on form, I really mean that you've bitten hard, thrown a tantrum and made a fool of yourself.
But then you knew that, didn't you?
Coutinho's Happy Feet (U18971)
Agreed, but he had a dig.
He didn't need to, but he did, and that's what has created the headlines, caused Phil to react and brought Klopp into it, in my view.
I'm not sure you can call somebody biased for their role in a hypothetical scenario that you made up in your own head

Karius wasn't to know it would escalate. Do you disagree with players having a right to reply, or do you agree with Phil Neville that they should shut up and get on with their jobs?

Come on!
Having a dig back was only ever going to escalate it.
Of course they have a right to reply. But sometimes the desire to have a dig back should be tempered with the likely outcome i.e. avoid the issue and letting it die down will ease the pressure on him.
Although me being me, if I was in his shoes I would probably have done the same thing!

Of course you'd say that now that you are backtracking and trying to make light of it after realising that you've just been used to wipe the floor and then out back in your place.
Loved what Karius said. There should be more of it on football instead of the boring coached interviews which are engineered through fear of reprisal really.
Karius is a confident lad, no doubt about that, and I reckon he will come through this just fine.
Shot shy Middlesbrough up next so best thing he can do is keep a clean sheet if possible. He'll need a bit more help from those in front of him than he has been getting though!
