All criticism of Karius is fair, if you are as poor as he is then why should you avoid it.
He is the worst goalkeeper to grace the Premier League in years and is costing Liverpool a title challenge.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Are you Neville Neville by any chance!!!???
Don't see anything wrong with what the Neville's said.
I did find Klopp's response to a Bournemouth player saying they singled out Karius as the weak link as odd? I get Klopp was defending his player but all clubs will look for weaknesses in a side and exploit it, what did Klopp think Bournemouth would do?
I believe Neville Neville passed away.
Carragher and Jamie been also critical of their keeper. He has been diabolical. However, like someone mentioned above, DDG was the same..... I remember watching him live against city when Dzeko scored the long range shot, I turned around to my mate and said, ' another Barthez."- How wrong I was.
De Gea made some mistakes but you could still see the unreal potential he possessed. Karius does not have this. The comparison is a bad one.
To be fair, Karius was class in the Bundesliga. He's a good keeper, just struggling in his first year in the PL.

Absolute rubbish, he was bad when he started. No one could've predicted he would become the keeper he is today. The comparison is valid.
I think Karius is suffering from a lack of mental strength - constantly being in the spotlight seems to disagree with him. However, mental strength is as big as factor as physical abilities, and if he can't sort his mind out, he doesn't belong at a club like Liverpool.
It depends on what you see as his weaknesses, sure his positioning at crosses hasn't been the best, coming to claim the ball etc, and those were similar problems for DDG when he came, Reina too. Those are things you can work on and improve.
But some goals he's conceded have been shots any top level keeper should save, when he's got his hand to it but it's still gone past him. Shouldn't matter what league you're in or how long you've been there in terms of shot stopping.
Basically, he's not the worst keeper in the PL ever like someone else said
But he's not very good, for a side that have got to the level Liverpool have been at this past 12 months, he will hold them back, and his defense will never have confidence in him.
He was showing brilliant distribution and amazing reflexes, the two attributes why he was so highly rated and tipped to become one of the world's top keepers. It's why we made him the second or third most expensive keeper of all time when we signed him.
He made some errors, no doubt, but everyone could see his potential. This is not the case with Kariius. It really is a shiiiiiit comparison.

Like the shot from Dzeko against DDG that went in???
I know you love a pointless argument scholayscholes, but Karius isn't very good, sorry.

Nah not having that. I don't believe for a second you've watched all his games and if you're basing it on his bundesliga form then that doesn't make sense either.
With De Gea there was at least some potential evident from the start, maybe not as much to say he would end up as good as he has done but it was there.
There's been nothing to suggest the same with Karius.

I've never watched him in the Bundesliga, only for Liverpool when they've been shown live.
I've not seen anything in him to suggest he will be a top keeper, mistakes aside.
Well his distribution is excellent for a start. He's made some good saves as well. Not really letting in many more goals than anyone else bar Courtois and Cech. He actually has better stats than DDG as well amusingly.
Why do you need to have seen every minute of him?
Scouts makes decisions based on a few matches as do managers but to be qualified to give an opinion you need to have seen every minute he's played including his youth career and first steps
Carragher is a lot more critical of Liverpool then Neville is of United.

========================
Shhhh then because that about 4 times. Do you think that's how scouting works? Sitting on your ass and watch four games?
How can you compare Karius to de Gea? De Gea was hugely rated when we bought him and while he struggled with the physical side of our league you could see the ability.
Karius is struggling at the basics and quite regularly, there's no comparison other than they both have blonde hair.

Likewise, I fail to see enough evidence to suggests the lad will be a terrible keeper. He has made mistakes that most new keepers do in the league.
Only someone linked to Liverpool could complain about bias from pundits.
