He is a pwick tbh. But it gets him fame and money
He won't sit and discuss either

Wait, people still believe in the bible over here?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Galvs science of today is in the bible of yesteryear
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't know why God and evolution can't just co-exist. Does it matter if he made us all chimps first?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Again not the point, or the discussion
I don't have a problem with evolution, certain aspects of it anyway
The guy mocks religion and got called out and has nothing
Live and let live I say, discuss and debate no probs but get on your high horse and have Nada then you asked for it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well a lot of it is morally questionable and contradictory and lends itself to mockery, but as long as one's beliefs don't infringe on anyone else then no problem with it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I am happy to discuss what people see morally questionable and contradictory. Also happy to take to task those who are religious
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't know the complete ins and outs of the bible, but depending on how literally you take the content there's a lot that's morally questionable going on. God's a very naughty boy in it at the best of times.
Watching dawkin debate religious people is hilarious its the same every time, dawkins 'i dont agree with that, check out x x x' religious person 'well i dont agree with that this says x x x ' back and forth, in the end they still leave thinking the same as they did before.

You went off on a tangent either because you didn't like the question or were being deliberately vague...IMO

Beat me to it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Opening paragraph from the BBC article:
A French soldier guarding the Louvre in Paris has shot a man who tried to attack a security patrol with a machete shouting "Allahu Akbar", police say.
'Shouting Allahu Akbar' has become the new media innuendo for suspected Muslim, replacing the old favourite 'of possible Middle Eastern appearance'.

If they kept it to themselves it would be nice yes (as in didn't impact on everyone...(I don't mean being preachy as some of us are accused of the same....maybe rightly so such is the nature of debate)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I actually think someone like Richard Dawkins, as much as I agree with him, can go a little overboard from his side of the fence. I mean he seems really determined, maybe too determined to put his point across.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He is certainly on a missionTbf all these Super Atheists should make their books free for all if they really ARE trying to educate rather than capitalise....but that's another debate I suppose
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't mind him having his mission to re-educate particularly when it comes to scientific education in schools in the States. But it appears he he's rather determined to convert as many people as he can when I sometimes feel "Well if it makes them happy.."
